BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

You're welcome in Texas, too! I don't claim any special cooking prowess, but our hometown BBQ joint is on just about every food critics "best" list. They have Texas Twinkies on weekends! VERY Keto friendly: (large jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cream cheese; wrapped in premium thick cut bacon).
Are fried Twinkies Keto friendly? :err:

A girl "may" want to try Atkins, just because of the Rob Lowe commercial. He is cute. AND you can eat some fruit, too he says.

Rob Lowe has some enlightened takes on eating: 'I'm not a big fan of diets'
I stay on the Keto to maintain the lifestyle since I hit my target weight a long time ago. I actually lost 10 more pounds than I wanted to. By indulging in comfort food like Rob, I've put back 13 pounds and am staying within a few pounds on either side of target weight. If I gain too much I get back on the Keto food list.

We joined the gym 3 weeks ago and I found out just how out of shape I am.

We've only missed a couple of days and I can really tell the difference.

I did have to miss one day because I got toooo f*cked up on the edibles.

Damn, I'll have to try those. They look even better than Maple Bacon Pop Tarts!!!

Bacon makes them Keto.

Actually saw this online might try it when I get past first 30 days

Beware of keto-treats. 30 days? Keto is a healing diet (sounds like it did an unbelievable job with @goillini52's COPD. I think it took more than 30 days though. Not sure it will fix what ails you so quickly you can go for Franken-foods in 30 days and not worry about it.

Eat meat, drink water ... then eat meat, a few non-starchy veggies, and drink water.

Coffee/tea is also acceptable.

"Fat-bomb keto treats" should probably be added once you hit your goals, but not before.

That being said, I see these things are made in a corn dog maker. In addition to pizza, I sure do miss a good corn dog too.

Mmmmmm. You can use almond flower too. Maybe Dave could post the links for the Keto food lists. If you read this whole thread, early on is when he posted them and some reports...on was from Duke.

I have been trying to go through it this past week, Is a looooong thread but a wealth of information

I am loving my new lifestyle

I had lost some weight several years ago trying to eat healthily but gained it back When home-cooked meals began to be more of a problem due to autistic child and busy business combo

Still, I had always had to fight craving and hunger and rarely felt satisfied, though I did like the food

Now, this is more natural hunger and food cravings are disappearing,

I am coming to realize carbs are a drug whether good carbs or now, pick it up when stressed when can't sleep, when bored and for a multitude of other reasons besides hunger

With this, I am slowly moving away for that and not craving food nearly as much for all those other reasons and I feel full and satisfied when I am done eating not that gnawing feeling of I could go for just a little more
