Bankers Life and Casualty?

Re: bankers casualty and life

Again, this will depend on your office. During your interview ask who will your "trainer" be, and see if you can speak to them while you are in the office.

Some BLC office's will make you pay for your own background check. So your office may be one of those.

If you don't find what you are looking for - I can help - ring me up. Basic training and Basic contracts is all you need to start. The key to your success will be the leads you work.

It's not rocket science. Sell via the phone / internet one or two products and keep it simple.

Holler if needed . . .

Re: bankers casualty and life

I thought I would post a new thread on this to get more responses. I am interested in insurance and currently do not have my license. I have an interview with bankers causality and life this week. I am just looking for someone to work with for a few months to get training and then go on my own. I have heard negative things about this company but wondering if it is good enough for training so I can go on my own? I live in las vegas so if anyone has any other suggestions for getting training for a few months, let me know.(I just want to sell health and life)

If I were brand spanking new at this and didn't even have my license yet, the first person on this board I would talk to would be healthagent before I made any decisions.

He has been helping agents with the health insurance business for several years.

Re: bankers casualty and life

A few weeks back I applied, interviewed and got hired by Banker's. I had been wanting to get into Insurance Sales for a long time. I just had my licensing exam on Saturday (passed with flying colors) and will be licensed soon (booyaa!).

Anyways, I told my dad that I had been hired by Banker's (he is a former independent agent and was in the business for a long time). He said if I go work for Banker's he'd disown me!! He said he'd train me and that being independent is much better than working for a lousy company like that.

So after taking his advice and doing research on Banker's L&C, I have decided to not go work for them. I'm not sure I've ever seen a positive write up about them. Aren't they a B+ company?

Re: bankers casualty and life

You would be much better off going with Physicians Mutual, Mutual of Omaha, Western Southern, NYL, The New England. Just to name a few.
