Best Days to Set Appointments

Does anybody find that there is are certain better days and times to set appointmens or days that people don't want to see you (maybe Fridays) because the weekend is there and especially now the weather's breaking?

I'm trying to get my time managemnet down as I'm reading on here about appointment setters and don't know if I'm ready to trust someone else (I can't hear) set the appointment for me...

Any ideas/advice would be much appreciaed--thanks FE pros.
 
this is always a bit trouoblesome. Part of my suggestions are related how clustered your leads are, but if you are adaptable, the weather can be taken advantage of yourself.

Take an area where you have most leaads and try dropping in, or by. Next door. if no one at home, inquire when they would suggest coming back to catch the people your lead brought you to.

Regardless of out come knock the door across the street from the lead, then the next door neighbor on the other side of the lead. (Now you've made a triangle.)

Warmed up now, if have'nt got in yet, keep knocking.

Othlerwise, I would call on mondays til 2, and then do the above suggestions.

Nice-and what do you say to the doors you've knocked on?
 
Start making all of your calls on a Thursday and make your appointments for Mon-Tue-Wed of the following week.

Some studies have shown that Thursdays are good days to call and make appointments. Maybe it's because everyone is excited about the upcoming weekend?

Try this and then shake it up and try other days. Keep stats.

How much FE do you sell?
 
Neighbors are , shall I say nosy? If you just inquire about best time to catch your lead at home they wil likely inquire what your business is with them. But if not just guide them into a regular door approach.

Oh, by the way, you've probably guessed that I am in business. At least I hope you did'nt think I was a bogeyman. hahaha I help people make informed decisions about .......

As long as you're friendly and keep the conversation open and friendly....You've developed another lead. After all, if they trust their neighbor they are assuming that you are the neighbors ins man.

Actually I've focused on and have done well selling Term Life over the phone. I didn't realize this was an FE Pro thread only. If it is, you should be the only one responding JD.

Don't take my question wrong. That was just way different advice about when to call than I have ever seen. I wanted to know how well that worked.
 
Several studies have shown Thursdays to be the best day statistically.

I guess my main point is go with a strategy and stick to it and keep good stats so when you change it up, you can compare.

My recent history had me calling from about Noon-9pm M-Fr and for about 4 hours on Saturday (10am-2pm) and that was purely power dialing without really measuring my day to day results.

Dialing strictly for FE, you would want to start and end earlier in the day I would think.
