CA Commish Rumors

It's about time you 2 woke up (and used your brains wisely)!

I made this decision over 1 year ago (to let the renewals play out & then let Nancy & Obama fight over how much they could increase my handouts every year).

But, God Bless you (and precious Ann), anyway! You've spent a lot of brain-power figuring out (much of) the red tape!

Ann should be earning royalties; and you 2 should be her highly-paid associates!

I figure that no matter how much ACA pays out, it's NOT worth the E&O liability (nor the Big Brother over my shoulder).

And, I'm almost 65. My large book of renewals should take a while to "play out". Then, I'm joining the 50% with their hands out. I never dreamed I'd say that, but I just did.

any chance you could move to a house outside the great state.... I just don't want to pay for you rear.....

Thank you for your kind words. I'm just 10 years behind you in age, so I'm moving toward retirement too. If you've been in this business a long time, TxOnline, then you know it's cyclical. Once one idea plays out, another comes along. Even if it's one payer, there are still supplements to sell just like in Medicare and just like it is in the Canadian and European systems. There is always room for those who are flexible. Good luck in your career, and have fun in retirement! (PS, retiring with a boat load of money is usually more fun than retiring on welfare!)

Stuy119, I would love to be in my 30's again with the wisdom you have now. You have an extremely bright future ahead of you! Any value that I can provide to help all of you guys along is pleasurable to provide. This country needs more agents like you guys!

I already have the house on the river paid for. (You're stuck with me.) I have the chickens & the garden almost ready, too. And, the fish are jumpin' in the river. (Won't need the food stamps. Just my SS check and my ObamaPhone will do for now.)

I spent 60 years working for this and certainly paid my 50% FIT, FICA, Tx Sales Taxes, Tx/County Property Taxes, etc for many of those years.
(Yes, I started stacking groceries at age 5...for 25 cents a day.....in the good, old days when children were encouraged to work.)

I would have NEVER made this decision NOW if they hadn't thrown 2700 pages of confusion in my lap. I'll still work my existing book. But, you guys can share the fresh leads. (Just working my existing book will take a LOT of time over the next few years.) By then, I'll be a legit 67-yr oldtimer....and will let attrition take its course.

I WISH things would work out smoother for ALL of us....but someone forgot to raise independent children in this great country (who LOVE to work as much as I always have ...and who MAKE a job when there isn't one ...and who don't vote for the next hand-out.)

I still don't KNOW-that-I-know MANY of the answers (like so many of you smart young-uns do). Spent well-over an hour in Cert Training & still haven't finished Part 2.
Am memorizing (many specifics) as I go. If I make it without a "time-out" error, you'll ALL make it.
I should have bought that book (than Ann never has published)....or spent more time HERE.

Why of course you should!!!

Then, you might not have to sell those Supplements-to-Singlepayer for the rest of your life!
