SFG is a good company for the right person. I have been very happy. I NEVER, bad mouth other companies, to each their own. We are here to just give you an opportunity to see other options. If you are not happy , it’s just time to explore your options. At the end of the day, it’s the mentoring that will get you places in my opinion, along with your own drive. Every place will have good and bad, it’s what you make of it that counts! SFG has come a long way, many growing pains along the way, I’m just glad I’m happy and making money , doing it my way, without a boss and the freedom to grow as much or as little as I want. I have become a top producer and my goal is to help others do the same.

Wow. Thanks for sharing your story as I sit in hospital for past week with a 200k surgery that would not be covered under most junk plans like USH. While ACA has its network problems, (and I experienced the HMO disadvantage) and I'm sure a whole bunch of claim problems like balance billing, at least I know pre existing wont be the reason for any declines. If I was on STM plan or USH plan, it would probably not be covered at all and would be devastating. Now that I've experienced this terrible medical system of ours, I may just have to vote for Medicare for all in near future. Some agents can be sympathetic to clients health and use of health policy you sell them. But now being empathetic, i question my advice over past 15 yrs and always tried to sell only the real insurance plans. Knowing the difference was my advantage, ush agents drink the kool aid. I avoided this trash and any lawsuits my whole career.. Some drinks are watered down and agents escape like yours. But others double up and screw my clients and others and dont give a rats ass about their financial and health future. Going forward, I will continue to only sell Medicare supplements and reject Medicare advantage plans. I prefer ACA plans over STM plans, but will come with additional warnings. Group ppo plans are superior, but not all can get one . Luckily, I got one yesterday, fortunately it doesn't look like I will need to use it for a dire specialty provider purpose that the ACA HMO could not bring to the table.

Even a health agent like myself couldn't navigate the medical system, prior authorization in network problems. Paid cash for cat scans and MRI's to not delay my care, and fortunate that I did or I'd be in big trouble or dead. Getting into decent quality specialist offices in timely manner was also big hurdle. Delayed care caused issue to get worse.

Now I sit here, ready to go home from hospital, and aca ambetter is dragging their feet pre approving home health care for i.v. drip line. Takes up to 3 days sometimes. Cost difference is huge, and they dont give a rats ass, and we wonder why our premiums are so high. The system is broken.

I feel sorry for my clients who have no clue.

Scott has put up with my CRAZY OBAMACARE HATING self for YEARS...
I was paying $1177.00 month for Obamacare and i was going to have to meet a $7900.00 Deductible this year before It would do a penny and let me do a copay for prescriptions.
(Premiums went WAY UP...benefits went WAY down..they TOTALLY did not DISCLOSE that they were taking the medication co pays away)

Anyway....Scott got us on a 2 man PPO plan by using our corporation...
This is something fairly new.
We now pay $1432.00 month, but we can pick our Drs...
(We lost ALL of our Drs when Obamacare went into effect...and its next to impossible to get in with an Obamacare approved Dr)
I can now go to any Dr I want WITHOUT A PRIOR AUTHORIZATION and a referral to an Obamacare approved Dr.
It's like the insurance in the old days...REAL INSURANCE!!!!

I take a lot of meds, and today I picked up $1184.00 in meds for $45.00
I do have to get a prior authorization for one prescription...but Dr is working on it...
It's a $1500.00 med that will hopefully only be a $40.00 copay.

If you are self employed and was FORCED into the ACA exchange...

When he helped me through the exchange, he made $12.00 per year...
But he still helped me!!!!!
I was NOT EASY TO DEAL WITH during the whole ACA ONLY AVAILABLE OPTION for self employed days!!!!

I can NOT BEGIN to explain how much I appreciate him!!!!

He is a good guy!!!!
He is saving me a bundle right now!!!!!

Haha, did he tell you that? He probably meant $22 per person, per year. In your situation for 2 people thats more thsn $400. Although many ACA applications wont pay due to agent of record issues, your agent snowed you into doing what he wanted. Not cool.

A 2 person group is easy for any broker to do, if your situation matches the requirements.

I'd be more careful w your agent "reviews". Yours makes this agent sound sketch

it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize what they are doing and how they are stealing their wages. Working 80 hours a week for no pay. Its withheld - which should be illegal. They’ve been brain washed!
It’s destroying the family. I’m going to research this as much as I can to pull my loved one out of this cult. They harass and scam and don’t deliver. please offer any advice on how to get them to see the light and leave. Straight A scholarship - college education and just gave it all up for this group of hooligans… it’s 1 big party atmosphere… they are dishonest and my loved one is getting brainwashed - there is no product! Now, US Health Advisors has the UnitedHealthCare name on their stuff. However, it looks like the same old plans that are available, except on their website they have a page for Summary of Benefits and Coverage | USHEALTH Group and it has listed summary of benefits for a HDHP-06 that isn't listed under their products. Do they actually offer anything from UnitedHealthCare other than using their name and one of their networks? A potential client told me about this and I was unprepared.
