I don't know about the FE but on the WL Columbian paid 113% even though they were NY based. The base commission was 55% but just like all the other NY companies, they paid "allowances" which kicked the comp up to 100+..My bad. It gets tricky for a large Columbian agency like Diversified based in North NJ who works NY a lot. How do you pay the NJ agents 100% and the NYers 50? I mean, they all go to the same meetings and all the NY agents would want to work NJ!
As far as paying more in one state than another due to state mandates, the agents are well aware of the differences.. Not the companies fault they have to comply.
But not a "captive" debit company as many seem to think..

I like them their FE policies issue fast and pay fast.
GI I stay far away would never write. If it lapses reinstatement requires underwriting. Also 3-year wait.
