the only way to know for sure what she has it to meet with her and read her policy. The member benefits that Foresters provides could very easily make it worth it for her to switch.

Even if her policy was a whole life with fixed premiums with no waiting period the payments are essentialy the same. If given a choice most people would take the free benefits. Its also nice to have a personal agent there when you might need them. Sell yourself.

Curious which benefits do you think are the most valuable to them? I am not sure that I have even mentioned the benefits on any of the Foresters or RNA policies I have placed. I agree that having an agent is the biggest benefit.

What are these great Foresters benefits?

Legal link has been very helpful for me. I have used it several times from my own policy. It has saved me both time and money.

Many of the people we are dealing with are not the sharpest tools in the shed and the free financial planning might be a plus for them.

Most of the peolple I am dealing with come from old run down neighborhoods and their parks could use some sprucing up. Look around next time you pull into an appointment. If they have a run down park in their neighborhood, mention it.

The Childrens Miracle Network is a very good organization that has helped out thousands of less fortunate children that don't have it as nice and most of us have. I find that many of the people buying FE policies are buying them for their family members protection. So they obviously care some about doing the right thing for others, which is exactly what the CMN is all about.

I wish I had a dollar for everytime I was able to replace an existing policy with a new Foresters policy when the payments were esentialy the same. Member benefits are just more bullits in the holster. I had a guy recently replace his existing policy with a foresters policy simply because he liked the sound of the benefits. His payment went up about $12 dollars a month but he didnt care. he saw a value in the benefits.

Bottom line we as salesmen often don't know what the clients hot button actually is. If your selling Foresters products and don't sell the value of the member benefits, take it from a true salesmen; YOUR DROPPING THE BALL.

The point is it doesn't matter which benefits I think are most important to them. Its what they think is most important to them.We don't know waht goes on in their daily lives and what might or might not be most important to them.

I was writing a Forester'spolicy on a lady a couple of weeks ago. She actually semed quite interested in the Children's MIracle network. Just as I was leaving her child arrived home from school. He had Multiple Sclerosis.

We don't know what there hot button might be. Sell all the benefits and let them decide whic is best and most important for them.

Those are good points. Not sure if I will use them. At most I may just make a mention of them. I have only done two Forester apps. They were a major pain, so I shy away from them. I do write RNA though.

Mostly they are buying me. I would be happy if they did not even remember the company's name. Some one ask who the have their insurance with, it is with Mr Blues.

I have sold (pushed clients who were on the edge of the cliff) based on the benefits of RNA & Foresters! RNA is real big with women or ppl without health/dental insurance, who are on a lot of meds, and/or wears glasses. Forester's big "Benefit" as far as a selling point is their Legal Link will help the client write a FREE Will (so they wont put it off any longer)....so what u can get that other places perhaps, it sells them!

I dont give much credence to those that are so Hell Bent on the fact its Canadian & its Fraternal...So? And? Do they PAY OUT is all that matters...and thats a YES!!

I DID sell RNA to a guy this week who was a HUGE US War History buff cause over convo had talked about companies going overseas & hiring & he didnt like that at all! From listening to him, I could tell a non-american company wouldnt sit well with him. Even after learning that, I told him about Foresters (cause he mentioned he needed a Will) and told them he could get 1 with them but they are Canadian or we could go with RNA and pay .12cents more....I left with an RNA app! Thats more the exception not the rule, 9 out of 10 dont give a rats ass!

Yea that bit about the canuckes is kinda true. Everytime I go over there they rip me off with the currency exchange.

And yes the underwriting jsut tends to piss me off. I just think it kind of a complete package as far as FE policies go.

In fact I often tell them using Foresters is a pain in the ass for the agent but they are the best for the client. They like that.

What ever works use it and if it doesn't work, forget about it.

That's a good answer. Sounds like you're doing a good job.
