Cuna

YEP, I remember that EXACT convo!! And here's where we will disagree again...u will think u are right, but i know I am.

THAT convo was SPECIFICALLY on the EFES Leaderboard....I said why look at it when Im not on it. As for carriers, I listened to Shannon's training twice for each carrier & got familiar with each carrier's site (and Application) once I got a login. Do I go and study it everyday? No. Do I review training calls on EFES & my Agency & my notes and login to my carriers regularly each week (most daily), YEP!!

But I missed that part....I cant gain your 9yr exp in 3mos!

We won't disagree, you are just wrong. I specifically talked about getting on the company websites everyday and told you that's what I do. Every morning, 7 days a week, 365 days a year I get on every website for every company I'm contracted with. I look at commissions, pending, issued, news and coorespondance. Yes, we also talked about the EFES website to familarize youirself with the reports menu to make sure it matches what the companies have and to learn how the PPL works.

I was telling you that stuff and I tell that to every other agent that asks me so that you won't have to learn it hard way like I did. Travis calls it speeding up the learning curve.

You never stop learning in this business. I picked up something from Travis on our training call last Friday that I'm going to puit in practice tomorrow. It's a small change in phrasing something, but it seems like a good idea. I also picked up a little someting from a guy in Jersey for a phone rebuttal. Nothing really big, but I used it today.

You don't seem to want help or tips. You seem to want ratification.

Yep ^^^ thats it, Im always wrong & dont want help (even tho I ask & take notes)....and you're NEVER wrong!

Glad we cleared that up!

I am going by memory which is not always accurate so correct me if I am wrong. Jd, I thought I read you state that mounumental was mostly on the high side as far as premiums are concerned? I can get signed up with mounumental but after reading your posts it didnt seem necessary?

Did I mis-read something about mounumental?

Also Is RNA Royal Neighbor?

Monumentals sweet spot for rates is for the older clients. I would recommend that you pick up Monumental. They are not what I would call a "go to" company, but they are good to have available. They will do immediate coverage for people with COPD if not on oxygen and they will bill monthly by credit card.

RNA is Royal Neighbors.

speak of the devil

I just had an appointment with a 62fNT. She stated she was told she had copd about ten years ago. She does not recall ever taking any meds for it. She is on many other meds including Insulin. Her health seems to be pretty good.

I sent her to Foresters and she answered all the health questions no. At the end of the interveiw they asked me to reread her the very last question which refers to COPD. I reread it and she again answered it no, because she has never taken any meds for it over the past ten years or so.

Foresters denied her completely and said if i had any questions to order the MIB.

I am set up with Americo. Will they take her level? I am not set up with MOunumental but can be. Will I need to take her there or might Americo do her level. It is a 35,000 policy so I want to do it asap. She is not on oxygen. She does take Albuterol very sparingly for her allergies and seasonal asthma.

ty in advance for your input

In this situation you may want to go disclose the COPD and go with Monumental Std Level. That is if you don't want the policy to be rescinded.

the COPD health question is always a confusing area to me. COPD is something that if you have, you do not correct it or get rid of it. So why does the company ask " in the last two years have you bla bla bla COPD?"

Just ask "have you ever been diagnosed with COPD or emphysema?"

Go with AmAm -- you can get Day 1 100% coverage with COPD as long as she hasn't taken any treatments for it and it was diagnosed more than 2 years ago.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Foresters made her answer the question again after the ifirst interveiw and then when she answered it no again they refused to cover her at all. They turned her down cold.

I am thinking maybe they assume she is taking the Aalbuterol for the COPD, which she is not. She was first told she might have copd about ten years ago. She started taking Albuterol about a year ago for seasonal allergies. She only takes it very seldomly.

I am thinking I need to get set up with Mounumental for her.
