Cuna

End of the day, they're still (a) Canadian and (b) a fraternal, with a crack staff of Indian customer "service" folks.

lol thats funny.

When I was trying to decide my bread and butter ( i like to do my majority of business with one company) I settled on Foresters. When looking at everyone I just think they had the best blend of a good commission, with liberal underwriting, and competitive FE rates. Those are 3 big things to an FE agent.

If you're pitching Foresters member benefits, just don't forget that they're only available if the face value is at least $10K.

I've been contracted with Foresters for 6 years. I never have really seen any benefits to brag about. The CI thing when they had it was OK although it was an acelerated benefit which made a low face FE policy almost worthless if used. It also wasn't in effect until the policy was 2 years old.

The legal aid crap is just that. I almost lost a client over the runaround she got with trying to set up a will. The closest attorney they could provide was over 200 miles away and he would not on the phone. Everything had to be faxed or emailed to him. I tried to get Foresters involved and they said it was a "free benefit" and nothing they had control over.

And, you're right that any of those benefit that might be of value were only on face amounts over $10,000.

And, just try to get new banking info to Foresters and have them draft the new account properly and on time. You don't even want to attempt a beneficiary change.

Other than that they are just wonderful!!

Thanks R!! I never knew that, my Agency never mention that part!

Do you remember when you were first starting and I told you to spend your time everyday at each company website to build habits and get familiar with that stuff?

Your reply was that you "will do all that stuff once you had busines to track".

I told then that stuff like that was a big reason that I did not recruit. You didn't understand that response. Are you getting it now?

Foresters hooked me up with an attorney that was 11 miles from my home through legal link. I have had the policy for 14 months and have used the guy three times and have never paid him a dime. He has saved me over a grand. I did send him a paying client that he thanked me for.

It also can be a pretty easy bump when a client is thinking about a $7500 face amount.

I use them every day and they make me money. You can't tell me that if two policies have very similar payments and one had all those lovely benefits, when presented properly the client won't go with Foresters. And thats assuming the two policies are similar in price. Foresters has the best payment the vast majority of the time. T

The free member benefits are just "Icing on the Cake"

Foresters and RNA are usually within a dollar per month of each other. RNA's member benefits are so far superior to Foresters that it's not even a discussion. The only place that wouldn't be the case is for male smokers over the age of 60 and, in those cases, Americo or AmCon beats them both. Of in the case ofolder clients and then Mon. or AmMem beats then both.

YEP, I remember that EXACT convo!! And here's where we will disagree again...u will think u are right, but i know I am.

THAT convo was SPECIFICALLY on the EFES Leaderboard....I said why look at it when Im not on it. As for carriers, I listened to Shannon's training twice for each carrier & got familiar with each carrier's site (and Application) once I got a login. Do I go and study it everyday? No. Do I review training calls on EFES & my Agency & my notes and login to my carriers regularly each week (most daily), YEP!!

But I missed that part....I cant gain your 9yr exp in 3mos!
