Did some door knocking yesterday... and then ate some bacon

Adkins is done in stages the first stage is no carbs at all.. you can have cheese and eggs or any other protein source in the first stage. It's in stage 2 and after when you have to be careful with the carbs.

Can I add cheese and eggs to this diet?
I'm sure you could very lightly, but here's my opinion do the bacon 2 pounds per day for as long as you can handle it then slowly add eggs or some other protein only type food, losing the weight is pretty motivating that's why I've been sticking to it I'm always curious how much am I gonna lose tomorrow morning. Then obviously start doing cardio when you can so that when you go back to a somewhat regular diet the cardio will keep the weight off. The hardest part is losing the weight once you've lost it you start feeling better see you can exercise more once you've lost the weight keep exercising go back to a comfortable diet and the wait will stay off because you're exercising. Just one fat man's opinion

crash diets almost always end in the individual gaining the weight back because typically they are too restrictive and it's impossible to lead a normal life and continue the "diet". Obviously it's going to make you lose weight...you are probably going from a carb heavy to virtually none. Without realizing it you are probably lowering your calories too.

Water weight is going to fall off you very rapidly. Once you return to your normal diet it will more than likely come back.

the only reason i say this is because there is zero way eating only bacon is healthy for you haha

I mentioned some of this stuff a few posts back, but no one seemed to care as they are all going for the gusto with the pigs. I do love bacon myself as I know a lot of them do. But when the fun is over they'll gain it all back.

I do understand what you're saying but I am drinking way more water than I've ever drank in my life that's the first thing. Secondly the point is drop the weight so I can start exercising once I drop the weight I continue to exercise the exercising will burn calories after I am on this restrictive diet, clearly I have to do my part though. I also think we need to understand the diet a little bit more before we determine whether or not it's healthy, based on what I understand the less carbs you eat the body has a better chance of burning all those carbs/sugar for fuel once the carbs and sugar are burnt the body then moves to burning the fat, Under a normal diet we eat too many carbs and sugar in the body never get a chance to burn all of the carbs and sugar and the fat at this point the sugar and carbs will then turn into fat at some point and that is why our arteries clog etc, is because of too much fat. I believe this is why the people that have gone on this bacon only diet for 30 days have better blood work afterwards then before, they're not only burning the fat from the food as energy there also burning the regular fat in our bellies arteries etc. hopefully this makes sense
