Door knocking Face to Face in 2024

So they don't post here because they don't have anything to gain, but are apparently all over YouTube, is that because there is something to gain? Seems they'd rather choose platforms that don't involve more in-depth interaction.
The vast majority of agents have never heard of this forum. Why would they create an account in a platform where there's maybe 10-20 active posters in this Final Expense section just stirring the pot?

As far as something to gain...most agents appreciate recognition of their success and want to give back and motivate others.

100% most are recuiting .
True. Agency owners ("recruiters") are showing off final expense telesales success stories on YouTube and they should.

Lol. You tube didn't work well for Ken Sutton did it ? Perfect example of a guy who says he was writing $30 k a month telesales with your company yet he's out of the business now . As I recall he actually had some harsh words for you as you went back and forth a few times . The truth is whether face to face or telesales % wise few agents NET 6 figs in fe . But the dreams of making big money keep the agents piling into the fe arena by the 10's of thousands especially the telesales side . It's like the day trading of stocks in the 1990's . I get up in the am and don't have to leave the house and work 9-6 and NET a great living . But as I posted a week ago now that mapd is on the ropes every former 100% Medicare shop is piling into to fe to diversify .

Your correct this chatboard if basically 50-100 people vs 1000's on Facebook groups . But the difference is you can be honest and open on here. Facebook groups are nothing but love fests. Just like the post about " do all these CO's exiting fe cause you concern". Every fmo that makes huge overrides of course commented " no there's no problem here " . I understand nobody wants to believe there golden goose is in jeopardy . Just like the leads . If you ever sat ttc's leads are shit you'll be banned . I've run them in years past and they were terrible . I have no doubt they were mixing in used leads with new leads .in the end the insurance business is the biggest mlm type outfit on the planet . It's built on the perfect hierarchy type structure with many layers who override . The difference being I won't call it a traditional mlm because only a few main people in the Hiearchys actually override .

All this talk about a telesales career. Wouldn't matter if you were selling time shares, siding, extended car warranties. Uhhhhh……..ain't enough money in the world to get me to do that.

I would build bird houses in a backyard wood shop and sell them on road side before spending my days sitting on my arse staring at a monitor all day selling anything over a telephone.

I rarely run in-home appts more than two days per week, usually have one day of office/admin work and make pretty good money. You couldn't pay me anything to be a phone jockey. I've done it long ago and it sucks. Never again and certainly not more work for less money.

All any agency can do is give agents their best efforts for leads, tech, training and support. If an agent finds success then fails out, that's a decision that agent made to quit and it's out of an agency's control. If that agent wants to vent in a public forum, so be it. It's feedback we can use and it makes us better. I didn't see his words as harsh at all and he still recommends us.

There are many wrong assumptions being made about telesales and it gets a lot of attention on this forum. Don't you think it's a waste of time and energy to speculate on something that has no effect on your business?

There are tons of F2F agents that were supposedly making great money that are no longer in the business so it doesn't just happen with telesales agentd.

Ken got out of the insurance business for a while after working face to face too.

Plenty that are still doing that and more. I
Oh I'm sure. We're getting ready to release our Voice AI with artificial voice opt in leads.

Been trying to replicate the direct mail with appointment setter model digitally for a long time.

Finally the technology has caught up.

Works even better for telesales as we can get very inexpensive artificial voice opt in leads that turn into live transfers.

But soon, field agents can decide how many appointments they want to run and as long as they can pay for the leads and AI calls, they'll be able to have as many appointments per week as they want.

No more dial days :)
