Yep sounds like arrogance to me. Door knocking is a plan, especially of you have a targeted data list. Dont knock something just because you suck at it, THAT is unprofessional.
Ok, by from prospecting for the day.
My plans are very simple:
Work 5 days a week
Work 8 hours a day
Prospect for at least 50% of that time
Have 20 conversations with ANYONE about life insurance
Sell $800 Annualized premium per day
Obtain 2 referrals per day.
Simple.
I don't need leads, I don't need websites, I don't need anything other than a good pair of shoes and my mouth!
I am at 18 apps so far this month already.

That is the way they did it for years. Most of the debit agents did it this way. Prospecting was key back then.
Now you have all these lead companies, but most of them suck.
Its still key in today's market as well.
I have never seen the point to spend/waste money on leads when all the leads that I need are everywhere.....FOR FREE.
I don't know how these guys and gals make it when then get up monday morning and they are already in the hole for 500-1000 dollars because of what they are spending on leads.
Its crazy.
