hahahaa...the robin hood gig was in panty hose....something about keeping leg hair off the food,,,,,,,from there I did work my way up to a food and beverage director of a country club.......hahahahaha....

Two careers in tights ... my respect has been renewed ...

Ok, by from prospecting for the day.

My plans are very simple:

Work 5 days a week
Work 8 hours a day
Prospect for at least 50% of that time
Have 20 conversations with ANYONE about life insurance
Sell $800 Annualized premium per day
Obtain 2 referrals per day.

Simple.

I don't need leads, I don't need websites, I don't need anything other than a good pair of shoes and my mouth!

I am at 18 apps so far this month already.

Do you get a list by age or just canvas an entire neighborhood? What do you say at the door?

Empty - it's not arrogance, it's an opinion that blindly knocking on doors is a waste....have a plan.

Who says we are blindly walking neighborhoods? My eyes are wide open. Hidden in plain sight, is the business.

You would not believe it if I told you: but I just go by my gut feeling as to where to go write and where to go prospect. That simple.

Nope, no list. I canvass an entire Neighborhood.

Of course there are SIGNS that I look for:

Number of vehicles on the street
Poorish Neighborhood
Lots of dogs
I don't do neighborhoods where the house are 100k+

Script is simple: "Hi my name is XXX and I am the local insurance guy that services this area and your neighbors tell me that a lot of people have either Reliable or American National, and if you do I can save you about 40% on your current monthly payment............."

Very few are rude. Most are polite. Most are interested.

Some I can help, some I can't.
