Drip Marketing

For those that don't know, why don't you explain to everyone what is Drip Marketing or what do you mean by Drip Marketing.

I think I know what your talking about. Is that where you keep mailing the same client over and over and then follow up with a phone call?

Add email to the mix and the above is a pretty good definition.
 
This maybe a stupid question, but is drip marketing?
If a sale is made or not, Drip Marketing is a method and Time table for staying in contact with clients and potential clients. A majority of my clients are not yet computer literate, making just e-mail blast or on line news letter ineffective.

Drip marketing...

look at your calender. there are at least 12 good reasons to touch your clients AND those who did not buy from you. get involved with Send Out Cards (if your'e not already).

Now, the 12 good reasons...January "happy new year" February "Happy Valentines Day" March "St. Patricks Day" April "Easter"...you get the picture by now.

You can set your campaign up in advance, have the person's name on the card in blue computerized ink and have it delivered without you doing any of the legwork. I've used it in all my companies for years now (Home Inspections, Consulting for Small Business owners, Church Consulting and now Insurance)

You don't have to use that system, but it's so easy and cost effective, I don't see why you would not want to. Also, you'll have to have a "message" each and everytime you contact them. And no, "Happy New Year" is NOT a message.

Why should they buy from you? What is your USP? What message do you want to deliver to your prospects?

An email newsletter is very effective as well. You can set that and forget it...Have it customized with your picture and your contact info and have it sent for you...content already written. Costs around $350 a year. And no...it's not Constant Contact.

I know I'm new here so take my post with a grain of salt. I'm rather new at this insurance gig. But I've been a direct response "marketer" for years.

You see, I'm not an insurance agent. I'm a "marketer" of insurance products. Think about it.:idea:
