E-64 Lead Quality Question

What kind of success do you guys have with the E-64 in generating DM leads? Is anyone using this as their primary means of acquiring new prospects? I've been leaning on it heavily and was wondering if it might be better to look elsewhere. Thanks!

That's the lead most agents use and are trained on. If you're having trouble with that lead, I doubt a different one would help. You gotta learn how to work the e-64 lead! Their procrastination is your enemy, not the e-64.

Thanks for your replies! Just curious: What percentage of your E-64 prospects immediately shut you down when they realize it's about buying life insurance? I'm hoping my numbers are not abnormally high!

To be more specific: On average, for every 20 leads you have that are E-64, how many would you estimate:
- Never answer their phone or door?
- Are adamant about having no interest?
- Set appointments?
- No-show appointments?
- Result in sales?

I'm not asking for anything precise enough to require a spreadsheet or anything, but am very interested in your typical experiences. Thanks so much, forum!!

I have tried everything to get a constant flow of leads in the last few months. Placed an order for 20 TM 2 weeks ago and have received 15 and so far with no sales from them. The order prior to this one of 20 I only sold 2. I ordered 70 Avatar leads from Primatech and sold 3. I purchased 19 press 1 leads from Lead Jerk and sold 1. I bought 10 internet leads from Customized Quotes and sold 0. I was ordering fixed priced DM leads and the return was so low that the vendor told me he could not continue mailing. I don't know what to do because nothing works in my area.

I see the problem as jumping around too much. The successful agents I know do the same thing all the time. Whether it's DM leads or TM leads. And they get them from the same source every week.

I used the E64 for 2 years. Nothing but the E64. I did sample some TM leads a couple of times because I was asked to but I still got the E64's.

I would still be using the E64's if FEX hadn't gotten the RGI leads. They asked me to sample some of those and I liked them. Been using them pretty much exclusively since May. I do still get a few straggler E64's coming in but my primary source is the RGI.

I can't tell a nickel's worth of difference between the E64 and the RGI lead. Only difference is the RGI leads come in on a schedule. Same county and same number of leads each week.

That makes it easier for me to plan my schedule.

Before the last 2+ years I used the EFES leads for 5 years. Never changed up. Same lead piece, same number per week for 5 years.

If there's a secret, there is is. Whatever you do just do it consistently.

I agree, however if you are NOT selling, then try not to do that consistently

At some point though you have to look at yourself and ask yourself if YOU might be the reason you are not selling.

Thanks JD--very valuable input! I really appreciate the way this forum enables rookies like me to get guidance from veterans like you.

BillyB, what region are you in?

Who's my upline? Sorry, just wanted to beat Cyborg to it! ;)

Nice one, Spur City! Seriously though, I'm really new at this so I'm trying to eliminate all other possibilities before deciding that I'm the problem :)

I am in the NW FL panhandle. The big producers on this forum get 50 or so leads a week I can't even get 20 a week that is why I have been trying several vendors. Some of them say they sell $4000AP from 20 leads and all I can say is come to my area and work sometime. I am happy to get 2 or 3 sales from 20.

Actually I think most know it's for a life insurance policy. The best excuse if they are hesitant or not interested is to say they didn't know.
