EFES Tele Leads Feedback

With all due respect, the op asked for feedback from agents using them or that have used them.

Maybe he can correct me if I'm wrong here but I can't imagine he wanted feedback from a marketer trying to sell those leads.

----------

Are you speaking of the EFES teleleads?

Nope, we never did use the ESES teleleads...

I was putting out my opinion about TM leads

I did not clarify they were not effes, oops my error.

If someone reads these posts, and are thinking of using Tm leads, they might do more research before spending their money.

The only good thing about TM leads, you get them quick, after that it is pure luck.

I dont expect to get lay-downs, and you have to "work them".

My experience was not profitable, as compared to mailers or making your own appointments.

I am glad I tried them, and found out they are not for me.

I have never seen nor worked any EFES leads. The reason for my post to let agents know that Telemeketed leads can and do work.

PHR actually offers both live leads that are 100% speaking with a telemarketer and also the press one type where the leads starts out with a live agent and then gets transferred to a recording. After the recording they are instructed to leave their info if they would like more information.

While they both work and work quite well, I prefer the press one leads. I think it may be because its easier for a person with no interest to just hang up on a machine as opposed to a live nice, friendly person just doing their job.

I have never been a fan of telemarketing leads, I'm not with efes, though, I used to get them in the 90's and early 2000's with health insurance companies, and they were horrible. Just my opinion.

Now, I have had mail leads before that I liked, in the past. Like in the 1980's.
I know that goes back a while, but it's true. For me.

With all due respect I couldn't disagree with that statement more. Luck has nothing to do with it. "Luck is for Losers."

Out of 25 telemarketed leads 6 or 7 will probably deny requesting the information. At that point in time its up to you the salesman to dig a little deeper and get them to finally remember they did in fact request the info.

I also disagree with the statement about lay downs. Out of 25 leads 3 or 4 or even more are usually lay downs. The laydowns are just gravy. Its what you do with the others that are on the fence that will determine how well your going to do with your leads.

Don't get me wrong, I know some leads are better than others but expecting to need and relying on luck is an excuse that weaker salespeople tend to fall back on.

FTR, " Luck is for Losers "was a backgammon book written by a bigtime Vegas Gambler. It had to do with his initial impression of Backgammon before he actually learned how to play the game.

Dice have as much to do with winning consistently in Backgammon as "the luck of the draw" has with turning leads into sales.

Teleleads can and do work for some agents. I'm sure all teleleads are not created equal either.

I think the EFES teleleads could be better if they had someone in charge of the quality that has actual FE selling experience instead of a person that attacks your credibility and skill as an agent when you question the lead.

I understand but the thread was about the EFES teleleads.

They are better then they were when I tried them 3-4mos ago....but that just makes them avg. I have sold them, and order them from time to time now, but its not my 1st choice.

I can say, they have improved them from before.....but they were BAAADDDD before!

With all due respect, Im not using press one leads.

I have been in sales a long time, and found appointments made by someone else, not to be as good as ones self generated.

The TM leads were not easy to get a hold of compared to someone mailing a card back.

My experience was.....I was lucky to get a hold of prospect.....
When I finally did, it was well over week or longer, by then it was not a priority, since to them it was really an after thought that a rep was going to call them about insurance.

Besides, why would you think someone is a loser?
