Enhanced Jane Leads.....

OK "cdsnuts", allow me to pause while I finish laughing at your name...

Ok, I'm good now..

The Jane leads are fantastic, as long as you choose the correct demographic. Like you, my average premium per case, using the Jane leads is high, about $850 AV, which is much higher than the industry average. The only I problem I've had with them so far, was something that I was partially at fault for. I took out the income filters. Huge mistake! Those people are very receptive, until you arrive at their home and they tell you they're on State Assistance, and can't afford a $10 policy. Some areas, I'm sure, can be more effective without the filters, but I definitely need income filters.

Like most lead companies, there have been a few small hiccups here and there, but, as the relationship grew and communication improved, most of the kinks were ironed out.

Bottom line for me is, with this program, you know how many leads you're getting each week, the price is more than affordable, and my ROI has been fantastic. The only thing I would change is that, hopefully down the road, they can institute real-time leads. Thad, are you listening?

I'd definitely give them a shot. At their prices, the risk is pretty small.

Filters I use are ages 60-80, Income 15k - 50k. I did get an 84 yr old last week and wrote him up for a 269/mo premium with Foresters. It was just approved.

Most of my agents working Thad's leads love them.

As Petey explained and truly the case with any lead, quality is dependent to a degree on WHERE you run your campaigns.

And just like HoosierLife explained, all the leads generally know what the appointments are about.

My personal experience has improved with the "enhanced" lead version; I still get a lot of crazy arse nutcases, but I have sold enough to have similar ROIs to direct mail.

One Enhanced Jane leads told me he takes a schizo medication so "he doesn't cut people up." Another lead, which I sold, was in her early 70s with AIDS, which she got from all the drugs she had taken.

With that said, I sold the nicest lady a few minutes up the road from me on an Enhanced Jane lead.

My only complaint, which restricts me from using the leads as a primary lead source, is the length of time it takes to fulfill the order.

Real-time is a great idea and I could do it with a few code changes and a bit of tweaking, but the problem isn't getting the lead to you guys in real-time, the problem is we would be giving you everything the good, the bad, and the ugly, and the info we have on file doesn't always match the info Jane or Steve get.

Currently we have someone who listens to all the calls and changes the name and the hobby to match what Jane or Steve got, and also weeds out the bad and ugly, all that said mistakes are still made. So real-time would most likely give an agent a bad taste in there mouth.

End of November and December were surprisingly super slow, as of late we have been pretty much on track with getting leads within the allotted time frame, but area and size do play havoc on the speed we deliver them sometimes.

I am always looking for suggestion to improve all aspects of the lead, and with my set up and the fact that I own everything, changing a few things here or there are not that difficult and sometimes won't change the price of the lead.

Ok so the consistency I'm hearing in this thread is the time it takes to fill the order. What are we talking? Everybody chime in please as I'm trying to get an idea as to what you all mean timewise. Thanks.

I think it took 3 days to fill my order of 20. That's pretty fast if you ask me

Based on what I'm seeing, if you are sufficiently happy with 20 leads a week, then you shouldn't have fulfillment problems getting the order completed within 7 days of submitting the lead form to Thad's office.
