Equita and Securus Guys, Step Inside Please...

Works for old agents also.

my rule of thumb is if a trainer goes and rides with a new agent off the new agents leads then they split the business... if the new agent wants to ride along with the trainer on the trainer leads then he gets free training but no prem.

I would think the least he or she could do is buy some lunch since the training is well worth a few bucks...

In this business real-life training to see how an experienced agent can juggle and overcome some of these strange objections is something you can not put a price tag on... i have always said it is okay to make a mistake in this business but if you repeat your mistakes then you will not be in this business very long...

JD always told me he loves the plug and learns, not just because he may pick up something new he will want to try, but he also loves to learn what not to do based on some of the agents that repeat their mistakes...

So you charge them for the training and make them buy lunch also? Do you sell them the lead also? Does the trainer get an override? If so, why?

Uhh...most agents starting out are flat broke and you are making them pay for your lunch?
Then, you're making money off of the business they write?

I've heard good things about you, but you are sure making those people, that said those things, look bad.

That fact is everybody wants to point a finger at somebody. But making somebody pay for lunch?>?> ouch.

No we don't charge for training... but sometimes a new agent would like their manager to run their leads... if this is the case then usually the agent will split the business with the manager for the day...

example:
new agent goes out and runs five leads with no training = no sales
new agent goes out with a 20-30K producer and takes five leads and sells three apps for 2300 in AP (split the business) so they both take home 1150 in AP.

agent wants to ride with manager they get trained for free... i was saying IMO they should at least offer to buy someone lunch...

your missing the point of the story... the point is get trained or drown if you are new... I cant express enough to new agents on here that make sure you are aligned with someone that cares about your success not just their overrides..

What percent do you start these people at? And lead cost?

So on say a $30 mo premium what does a rookie net out after Lead cost, gas, 50% vig and buying the poor trainer/recruiter lunch? Aside from the recorded phone chats and videos?
