Farmers?

I am looking into being in business for myself in general. Just starting to look at opportunities and was contacted by a couple of district managers.
What is the difference from a selling/business model perspective in doing life/health or auto/home?

Run the other way as fast as you can. I was dumb enough to go the Farmers routs when I first started. What I got out of it was a huge debt and little to no income. There billign system is a nightmare and does nothing but piss what little clients you may have off. If you want to go the p&c route I would suggest hooking up with a reputable independent agency to learn the ropes.
