Fex Contracting or the Insurance Squad

They're definitely liked more by agents.

& I would say the amount of consumer eye balls are higher on FE FB ads vs direct mail. Simply because you can show a FB ad to 50-100 people for the same cost as 1 mailer printed and stamped.

My question would more be so for those 50-100 people vs 1 mailer. How many of those people click on the ad vs how many people respond to a mailer.

for some reason, and maybe it is because i was a senior in college when facebook was invented, and it was just a profile with your pic on it. But, I dont envision the senior market responding to a facebook ad, versus responding to a mailer.

But maybe I just am looking at it wrong.

Can't speak for anyone else but if I were interested in something I would be just as likely to click on a FB ad as respond to a direct mail piece.. For the record, I am 74 and do not think I am any more technology savvy than most of my peers.. Less than many.

I assure you that you are.

@WinoBlues put it best the other day when he reminded us that today's 65 year old was 42 through 50 years old during the hey day of AOL and "you got mail" in 1993 through 2000. Today's AARP inductees where in their 20's and early 30's. Heck, I was was only 32 in 2000, and I'm now 50 years old. I am far more likely .... far, far more likely to click on a web link than to ever fill out a DM form. In fact, I do not think I have filled out a DM response card since my Boy's Life subscription days as a cub scout and boy scout sometime between 1976 and 1984.

Many of my DM peeps do not have email, are very likely to have a non-smart cell phone, and do not own a computer. But my FB peeps have all of that ... and are usually financially better off than the typical mail recipient, though not so well off, or, at least, they know their kids are not so well off that they can in good conscience get away without a little burial policy.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy are you going to get it.....

Here you can use one of my spares until you are issued your own. On loan since I seem to wear them out => *

For these FB leads...

What does the ad say?
Where are you sending the traffic?
The homepage?
A landing page that collects their info?
What info (First name, Email, Phone... ?)
What does the landing page say?
What does the website say?
Any videos?
Does the website have other content or just 1 or 2 pages about burial coverage?
How soon are you contacting them?
Do you offer a lead magnet top get their info?
Do you send a report to them before you call?
Etc...

There are many variables about online leads, including FB leads.

Saying they work or don't work is not accurate unless all the variables are known. Or if they don't work, they may work if some of the variables are changed.

#overthinkitmuch

Give me a $15 lead and I'll make the rest happen. I bought a batch of avatars once from dave and had a lady sitting at her table ID and checkbook in Hand when i walked in. A lead is just a legit excuse to be at there house, nothing more.
