Let me chime in for a sec...

The majority of independent FE carriers are not ready for telesales. Only one that is is American Amicable. Hard to scale a lead driven business if the carriers are against you!

Look at Prosperity. You gotta do a 15 minute eapp THEN 25 minute voice signature interview where the agent has to stay until the end. That's a 40 minute process just to get a $2,000 policy issued that's probably $17 a month with a direct express card. LOL!!!

Verses Term...

5 minute agent facing e app. No full SSN or Banking info required on the agents part. Agent live transfers the client to the actual carriers call center & the agent is off the phone & on to the next one. Carrier will do all the rest including getting bank info & SSN + voice signature.

Up to $1,000,000 no med exam or fluids if they're squeaky clean healthy.

Sample rates for the above non med $1,000,000 - male 35, non smoker, 20 y term = $36 a month.

Both of the 1m non-med carriers have approximately 33% of their cases go non-med/simplified...

They habitually bounce these cases to FU.

Not staying that you mean it this way, but I tell all clients to expect an exam at those face amounts.

I initially posted 4 testimonials I got from agents on Thursday after my "virtual ride along" where I showed them exactly how to do it... & trust me they were BLOWN THE HECK AWAY...but decided it's not worth the 71 page debate that would follow... made that mistake 2 years ago when i posted a testimonial of one of my agents getting a 24X ROI off of my Facebook leads. Everyone said I was a FOS marketer because "all internet leads are garbage" & "FE people don't have Facebook".

Today FB leads are arguably more popular with agents than Direct Mail... & I still haven't gotten a single apology. LOL.

I got the same heat when I suggested internet leads. Literally everybody uses facebook I know a 97 year old who still checks his facebook daily and loves his iPhone .

Selling term over the phone has been around a long long time, at least in the brokerage business. The idea is to do it for a few years and build up a large client base which now gives you a seat at the table for their other assets.
