Beliefs is one thing, but sincere genuine desire to want to educate and help others as opposed to being a sleezy insurance salesman is the key to gaining access.

And, if you come in trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes, they are going to quickly recognize you as the latter.. If you come in as the former, one with the sincere desire to help, the majority are going to accept you as you are and welcome you. :yes:
 
Oh,those that act phoney are noticed but it isn't up to the others to pass judgement on another's servant.. in the end, only the master has that right. Still deeply involved in church. :)

I am glad you have a good church to go to. If I could find one I would go. They are rare. Your right it's not my place to judge the phoneys. I shouldn't do it. I guess I have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to that. Just have to let it go.

I am the preacher.. wish I could take credit for it, but they were like that before I was selected for the job. If you were in our area, we would certainly do our best to make you feel welcome.
 
You didn't ask the chair company how they baptize or their view of eternal security? :laugh:

Might not wanted to know! Just hope the chairs are 'eternally secure":) We completely remodeled the chapel area.. one of the things was a new lighting system. We chose to go with LED lighting.. The bulbs cost $45 each.. they are supposed to last 50,000 hours.. That is about 200 years based on the average church chapel usage.. They will probably have a new preacher by then. :SLEEP:
 
What you should look into is the amount of radiation those bulbs put out compared to traditional bulbs... If you break them hope you have a hazmat suit available!

Surely not.. aren't these the 'environmental" friendly bulbs our government is pushing in place of those filthy coal burning incandescent bulbs? :mad:
 
Then you obviously didn't go look. Bc it is right on the bottom of the page where it says Jody Hayworth testimonial, right on the first page below the video. And I have actually seen both videos, the fact is his video is a replica he even knocks on the door the same way.

Okay, so they recorded that from Jody when he was brand new in the business. Of course he's going to do things exactly like his mentor. That's what a good follower does until they get in the position to lead.

Over the course of 3 years though, I would anticipate that most people change the way they do things to more suit their own personality. You'll do the same, just wait and see.

You know, Jody came on here praising Shannon and you still go after him when you really have no valid reason to. What's your big problem anyway? Do you really think that Shannon has some kind of exclusive marketing technique that he came up with all on his own? He got his techniques from somewhere; he didn't just wake up one day and come up with this and he certainly wasn't the first.

You seem to have a problem that Jody puts his training on a website that you have to join and pay money for. Do you really think that Shannon isn't making money off of the videos he makes? He makes his money off of recruiting agents. He makes it over and over, year after year. Jody makes his one time.

Shannon doesn't seem to have a problem with Jody, why would you?
 
I am still trying to figure out what the big deal is. Jody, in his blog, tells where he learned the business.

"I went with a company called Equita Final Expense. Well, within two weeks, I was number ten in the company. In two more weeks I was number three and by the end of the second month, I was number one. I stayed at the top the entire time I was there. I simply followed their system to a T."

I have looked at all the material I could find about both men and I did not find one unique idea. Everything they present, I have seen in one form or another over the last 41 years.

Jody put to use what he learned from Shannon and Shannon is using things he learned from someone else. So what? I am still using some of the things that I learned from people at NL&A 41 years ago. As it has been said, "There is nothing new under the sun".
