Final Expense Boot Camp

Everything they present, I have seen in one form or another over the last 41 years.
You must really love this career to be in it for that long.
There have been ups and downs the same as with almost anything in life.. For several years I more or less dabbled in it because I got really involved in dealing in antique collectibles, glassware and pottery. Looking back, I really enjoyed doing that but I would have been much better off had I concentrated in the L&H business.

For someone thinking about getting in the business. I can't think of any other with the income and satisfaction potential where you can be in business for yourself with almost no investment.

................. I can't think of any other with the income and satisfaction potential where you can be in business for yourself with almost no investment.

This is a difficult business that takes a lot of hard work but then every business I have ever been involved with takes a lot of hard work. The advantage of insurance especially L&H is virtually no investment required. I have had a business where I had $700,000 capital borrowed and invested to just open the doors. Then when that business wasn't doing well do you want to talk about stress??

Anyone else see the hilarity in the churches that call themselves non-denominational, its a denomination if you have to label it!!!
Just some seinfeld-semantic humor for you today...

Generally, One requirement for a denomination is that they have some type of authoritative headquarters, rulling body, convention or organization. In that respect the churches of our movement do not meet that requirement as we have none. Each church is totally independent, responsible for their own doctrine, ordinations, ect. I will say some of our people have become almost as denomintaional in their midset at the actual denominations in that they think you have to beleive exactly as they do before they can have full fellowship with you. The sad thing about our movement is that it was a movement that started with a call for "Unity of all believers"..From that call, we have managed to split into 3 major groups (and several lesser ones in size) with one forming an actual denomination.. So much for unity!

BTW, I don't think I used the term non denominational.. I try to avoid that term but do slip up at times .. I think I said "independent"..

Now, if you please, bring on the Soup Nazi! I think I can handle him! :D

Kind of like my personal favorite, "The Church of What's Happening Now". :D

This thread has certainly taken an interesting turn! haha!

However, I do have a serious question. Exactly how do you go about approaching a church about doing an educational seminar in either FE or Med Supps? Right now I sell Med Supps, I'm cold calling t65s, but am in the process of deciding which companies to contract with for FE and trying to get that going. And I'm in process of contracting UCT for their dental/vision/hearing plan. I think it's a great idea to maybe reach out to the churches in the area, but don't have a clue how one would go about doing that! I've only been doing this for a couple of months. Is there a good 'script', and who do you contact initially? I don't sell MA plans so I don't have to worry about CMS.......
