I just said males... As far as black goes, I have very few clack FE clients from direct mail.. Seems they don't respond as much plus the black folk in my areea only make up about 0.8% to 3.8% of the population depending on the county.

Black males,50-60,especially single ones will NSF more often tswitch back to Term in a heartbeat.

Marrieds are ok as long as you have a policy with her.


At your age,your health,if you were getting 50% of your lead cards in a black area would you door knock them ?
In all but one or possibly two housing projects within my county. Same applies to the other counties. In those areas, it is not the blackness that I am concerned about but the drug use. Back in my debit days, I worked those same projects, even calling after dark and thought nothing about it. However, the times, they are a a'changing.

The other month I happened to have a few leads in an inner city area . I don't flinch if their white, black , Hispanic . It's irrelevant. But when you knock on an apt below the ground and theirs 8 gang bangers smoking dope it's a concern . I forgot to do the apt filter on this drop . I've been in some dangerous areas over the yrs .
 
Even the telesales gurus that are all the rage now will say you have to learn and follow their system, their proven path.

Their will always be outliers in any system, agents succeeding without actually following the system. But the systems are for those agents.

Yes, we all follow a system to some degree. However, the systems are not all the same. Mine started out strictly F2F. Zero bought leads. I didn't know that was even a thing. My 'system' evolved into selling by phone and F2F because my leads started coming in from all over the 165,000 sq miles of California. You mentioned Telesales, many of those systems evolved from other systems heavily reliant on tech. There are others that poo poo the use of tech. Buying DM and driving all over hell is the best, buying tele leads in 20 states and dialing for dollars is the best. One is not more wrong than the other. Just wrong for a specific agents. Some say price is king, others say they just need to be middle of the pack. Because their system does not rely on price. Some people thrive under FEX, some thrive under @JRoot or Lincoln Heritage. It goes on and on.

Again, my point is there are many ways to do what we do.

We are not in agreement. There's many ways to do what you do. Not what we do.

No, I'm not saying that what Wino does is wrong. I'm saying he doesn't do what we do. He is not an FE agent as we reference in the FE forum.

Being FE focused as an FE producer week in and week out there are not a lot of ways to do it. As I said in first longer response to him, if you take the top 10 producers from any of the real FE IMO's and looked at how they do their business there will be far more similarities than differences.

There's a proven track. There will always be outliers but they are called outliers because they are.
