Final Expense Customer Service 2022

In all but one or possibly two housing projects within my county. Same applies to the other counties. In those areas, it is not the blackness that I am concerned about but the drug use. Back in my debit days, I worked those same projects, even calling after dark and thought nothing about it. However, the times, they are a a'changing.

In your honest opinion,is it wise for a 70 year old FE producer who's overweight, has a heart condition,to go into black inner city areas (Atlanta,New Orleans,Detroit) with lead cards looking for prospects?

:1wink:Very odd take.

No, I'm not saying that what Wino does is wrong. I'm saying he doesn't do what we do. He is not an FE agent as we reference in the FE forum.

Being FE focused as an FE producer week in and week out there are not a lot of ways to do it. As I said in first longer response to him, if you take the top 10 producers from any of the real FE IMO's and looked at how they do their business there will be far more similarities than differences.

There's a proven track. There will always be outliers but they are called outliers because they are.

I also didn't say Wino was doing anything wrong, in fact I didn't even mention his name.

I have to agree. I tend to write "final expense" on a different demographic and through relationship marketing.

We agree.

Which means we do it differently. No?

We're not talking about the same thing.

If you mean "we" as in the posters here at the forum now then we do agree. There's almost no FE producers posting here anymore.

Not Louis, but pushing 70 and getting

We = Insurance Agents

You win.

NO.... I would not have worked those areas in the three cities you mention when I was 30 years old.. Had a friend that was a debit agent in Atlanta inner city back in the 70s. He was held up at gun point 3 times in two years,,

Nothing to win or lose. I'm on topic about FE. You are talking the industry as a whole. So you win, I guess? There's certainly many ways to sell P&C, LTCi, Medicare, Annuities, etc.

There's not many different paths to a successful career in FE.

Many would dispute that. Greg has a solid career at SL,many LH and Bankers agents spend their entire FE career at places that do things differently, not nearly as competitive but are very successful.

In fact they probaby look down on us.

They have built downline ,have hundreds of agents that give them a nice override.

What do you say to them ?

I say there's many ways to fail at selling FE. I've seen plenty of it. Very few ways to be successful. The only difference between successful SL agents and successful brokers is the replacement part. Everything else is the same. 20+ leads per week every week, put in the grind, be trustworthy and honest, know how to have conversations with different personalities mailing in the lead cards, some dsys you cn't give it away while other days it seems like everyone is taking it from you. In other words just copy cat what the top 10 studs/studettes are doing. Most sales happen because Ms. Jones buys because of the agent and not just price.
