This kind of post in my opinion misleads inexperienced agents who are interested in selling FE. It is important to have a lot of fresh leads but it is just as important to be able to give an effective presentation when you get in front of that lead and know how to close the sale. No matter how many leads you have to work those prospects still have to be sold.We will make sure you know what you need to in the FE business and how to work the leads. We will also be there to answer any questions you may have. Unless you are close to one of our offices where we do training this will need to be done over the phone. But the FE business is not hard to do and over the phone should not be an issue for most people. The secret to making money is getting enough fresh leads and getting in from of people.

Its much more than a number games to be successful in the FE business. If all it took to be successful was having a sufficient number of leads you would not have to spend any time recruiting new agents. They would all be lined up to take you up on your offer. You reduce selling FE insurance to very simplistic terms and I respectfully disagree with you.It is important to have a presentation and that is part of what we will make sure they know about the FE business. I can give these leads to someone that knows nothing or very little and they can get 1-2 out of 10 and the best agents will close half of the people they get to talk to. After you know what you are doing the key is getting enough good fresh leads and getting in front of people it is a numbers game.

Hell no, much to my chagrin, I haven't even received a warning!
It's a shame when you try so hard to reach a goal (a warning), and they don't even give it to you!
I just got an e-mail from Staples and I thought I'd add it into the thread.
I know this is cheaper than what I paid for it last year...
They are selling Streets and Trips for $14.99 on Friday (6/18/2010).
That is a good price, I guess. What would you use it for? With GPS on phones and goggle maps or map quest being free. But then again I still have a couple of Thomas guides in the car.
You can take a list of any number of addresses and import it into streets and trips and basically ask it to optimize a route. It puts the destinations in the best possible order...
That is all I use my copy for, even when I was inspecting homes.
If a gps would do this, let me know, because that would be better.
