Final Expense IMO's for a Beginner

Yes but you must always questions the source... He highly respects and is friends with Tim the wonderful Winders and the Welfare fraud dude. Both of them have very questionable integrity.

JD has flaws in spades. But I have never known him to be dishonest. Now, you may not agree with his viewpoint on a subject and he certainly has his own take, but a flat out lie would be rather unlike JD.

Personally, I think the welfare case had to be pretty difficult for him. He was always a discipline of Travis, and for that to come out had to hurt. Yes, she is innocent until proven guilty, but it definitely looks bad.

But didn't JD constantly bash and hammer every IMO that was throwing crazy numbers and crazy un-realistic stuff? And isn't JD doing the exact same thing? Cmon, that is the definition of talking out of both side of your mouth. Only JD's and FEX #'s are correct cuz JD says so but everyone else is FOS marketer .

Furthermore he was such a liar he bashed the free lead concept and he bashed having your IMO control your leads, when in fact JD took a bump down in commissions so that he didn't have to deal with ordering, paying for etc of his own leads, he had his cronies do it for him. Funny how you all believe this stuff that is 98% all on the internet

Lastly, it has been said by JD himself that at anytime he has well over 50 plus leads in his possession to call and make appointments at anytime, so is that really 10 leads per week NO, he fondles the truth like I fondle my testicles. He is a FOS marketer for FEX just like 85% of the agents on this forum, just recruiters. Which is cool and nothing wrong with that but be honest.

JD talks a little like Karl Childers. I didn't say he sounds like him, just talks a bit like him.

And how many years did JD sell MA Plans? I caught that he did that for 2 years. Did I miss other years?

haha yeah

That's not what was said on the interview... it was said that he closes 40 something percent of his 10 leads.

That's a lot different than saying he closes 20-25% of his new 10 leads a week & the rest of his $250k+ last year was from referrals & older leads. After listening to the whole interview... since I've been doing this for 2 years now I grasped that he gets a lot of business elsewhere. But a new agent might not catch that it's not really 40% closing ratio.

Not trying to nit pick but a new agent will hear that sentence and think they can buy 10 leads a week and make $250k per year. I'm guessing the other agent that is claiming some ridiculous numbers has other ways of getting business too which is fine.

Either way it's impressive for any FE agent to write $250k in a year...but new agents need to hear the whole entire story. That's all. :)

I agree, but he doesn't keep track of numbers, like at all. If someone says he's closing 43% he'll say alright cool. It's up to us to interpret what's going on. I'd bet that juan or jose dude that closes 63% also gets a ton of business that didn't fill out any card.

So you don't recruit agents? Again that is fine and we all know your end game and every response you make is to ultimately recruit, but with JD and some telesales guys they act like they are NOT actually recruiting when in fact they are. The bash the very thing they are doing.

Yeah I was being facetious. I worked with JD for years. Unless it was a very hidden agenda, JD wasn't being paid to market for FEX. I think he's just a very loyal guy that promotes who he's with.

Some would say he's paid in higher comp, but I distinctly remember asking for a bump on a certain company and their response was "JD doesn't even have that level." So, again, unless it was a well thought out conspiracy, I don't believe he was ever getting paid to promote FEX.

Now everything else you said I agree with lol.

While he was definitely a huge FEX cheerleader, he was also always on Scott's case about being a FOS marketer.

JD was always followed his morals, you just had to know what they are.
