Final Expense IMO's for a Beginner

Just subtle things here and there too many to mention, you know those things that differentiate between good and amazing.

hola, we're basically curious why you think Tubbs' presentation outline is so inferior to the audio he did. Can't the nonverbal subtle things be applied when following the outline as well?

I thought we where talking about the subtle changes he's added since that were too many to list, that is what I meant, to clarify.
For me its a little different when I hear it because I've seen it be performed live by the legend TT himself :cute:

No I'm talking about when you said "if one follows that presentation, phone and in house, in my opinion will only take you so far I don't think its that good. But hey what do I know."

I would think the Tubbs presentation outline would at least be pretty good.

A question I have always had (well, not always, but since I first listened to the Tubbs and Winders and JD interviews that were made years ago) is this: What are the differences between the Tubbs and the Winders presentations? I only know as much of the Winders presentation as he intimated during his interview with @Newby, and I only know of the Tubbs presentation what can be read in that outline.

Whatever the similarities or differences, and putting aside any non-business related personal issues, a lot of AP has been produced by those two pens to be sure. Studying the presentation of either one would likely be a valuable exercise for any aspiring FE agent.

Oh yea, well the phone one for sure is not that good. The in house is not word for word the same, I doubt Lead Jerk just hit copy and paste, that said in my opinion (only) TT has no extra words in his presentation if he but that specific word in there is for a reason and or a certain reaction he's trying to get. So if even just a few words are missing or replaced it starts losing strength although still good enough to be better than most, its not complete.

While there is some truth in what you've been told, it's also a matter of who you go with for contracts. There are many IMO out there that you should avoid like the plague, but there are some good ones too. Just interview some and drop the names to us and we'll give you our opinions if we can. Coming here and asking is a good thing!

I am an experienced agent (23 years) in Life & Health & Property & Casualty. I recently worked for a National Carrier who focuses on Personal Lines markets. I just completed my Medicare & Long-Term Care licensing course & Final Exams and will be taking my state licensing exam in 7-10 days so I can pick up that LOA. I have primarily sold as an independent agent and I have knocked on both, residential & business doors selling Life & Health Insurance, Supplemental Benefits to individuals & small groups& Final Expense, but I have always had direct contracts and was just introduced to the FMO side a few years ago who I tried to get onboard with but at the time things didn't work out for several reasons. Over the past few months, I have delved into researching FMO's, IMO's, MGA's that can provide me with the tools I would like to have available and am absolutely overwhelmed by the information overload & become somewhat mind-numbing when trying to compare each agencies products, tools, training resources, benefits & agent offerings. So any help and insight as to the good ones & the ones I should run from or ideas on one that I should choose would be greatly appreciated.

I need an agency that can provide training in all lines. I have 23 years of industry background and sales experience, but I have had to take some time out of the field for personal reasons so would like the support of a strong training program and one who I can reach in a time of need while in appointments, maybe those who offer a Mentor or direct contact for help, support, guidance if needed.

I know nothing about the Medicare Market other than what I have just studied and tested on in my Pre-Licensing Course so I am looking for one who offers or has resources to direct me to train on everything about Medicare marketing, products, plans & sales or cross-selling techniques to life ins.

Of course, I live on YouTube watching videos on all points in this post.

Thes following FMO/IMO's are the ones I have researched & considering at the moment:
Secure Agent Training - Star Agency Contracting
Ritter
Rosenthal Financial Services
N.A.A.I.P
SMS-Senior Marketing Specialists
NASB-North American Senior Benefits
New Horizons

Onefastpony used to have his version of it posted. I used to have it saved but not anymore. They both sell premium, so that's a similarity. You could probably get it through yig.

haha it actually is word for word the exact same as the original tubbs outline. I was just busting your chops after you were so quick to dismiss it, apparently not knowing who actually wrote it. All the good stuff just has to be privacy from the CFCers. :1biggrin:

Secure Agent Training - Star Agency Contracting/Don't know much about them other than he came on the Forum to try and recruit for a week. I think he only has Final Expense.
Ritter/One of the larger FMO's, good reputation, known for Medicare Supplements and has a lot of good info on their website. When I looked at their Med Supp contracts, their commissions were lower than what I was able to get elsewhere. Don't know if that's changed.
Rosenthal Financial Services/I believe that's Mark's family FMO. He's been gravely ill the last couple of years and I don't if they're active.
N.A.A.I.P/RUN!!! He's a crook and will lure you in with a "free website" and I suspect he'll steal data from your "free website".
SMS-Senior Marketing Specialists/Good FMO. They offer good contracts, make other helpful services available to you, easy to deal with and have a good website with a lot of on line training info.
NASB-North American Senior Benefits/RUN!!! They're MLM with low contracts and I believe they only offer Final Expense.
New Horizons/Nice FMO that has provides a lot of good info and videos with good info. I don't use them because they also have an agency and because I'm local to them, so they're in direct competition with me.

None of these offer face to face training or P&C. Other than Ritter, SMS and New Horisons the others don't have what you seem to be looking for.

Keep in mind that you don't have to tie yourself down to any one FMO. If you're Independent, you can spread your contracts around. Just make sure that you get an upfront release signed, so that if it doesn't work out, you can move your contracts to someone else. It just depends on what you're looking for.

You're going to get a lot of offers from other FMO's and agencies now that you've posted this. Beware of the ones that contact you by PM. There's a reason why they don't post their offer for all to see. They have something to hide and they know they'll get called out.

Good luck and welcome to the Forum.

Speaking of good videos,

SPURCITY had a video posted here of one of his agents giving a seminar at a senior center. I think he just posted it for a short time.

I thought it was full of good information and would definitely listen to it a few times.

Not sure if it is still around.
