Final Expense Phone Qualifying Is Working

Another point since I see people referring to doing this type of lead on their own... We did look into bringing the process in house instead of going through a vendor and I can tell you software costs alone (if you want to do it right) are extraordinary. Then add the cost of data (not as bad) plus the cost of the TMs (there are companies that will do this for you for a fee or you can hire your own) and the cost of phone/air time.... It's a BIG investment that obviously pays off down the road, but you better have the resources and guidance to do it right the first time otherwise imagine the big flushing sound as you money goes down the toilet.

Happy Selling everyone. Glad I was able to add some clarity.

I would like someone to respond to that, too. I've never used those leads, but I have been following this thread because it is interesting to me.

Josh has made a very valid argument that they are not allowed. Now comes another side of the story. I would like for Josh to weigh in now.

There might come a day that I would want to try these leads. I certainly wouldn't if I thought they illegal. Now I don't know if they are or not.

Done right, they are not.
Best Regards,
John

Does someone have to contract through you to get these leads?

I don't know Jd personaly but with all his experience and knowledge in the FE arena, I find it hard to beleive he has never tried these leads. I think in my 3+ years of doing FE I worked mailers for about 4 months and in my mind there is absolutely no comparison between mailers and press one. Of course when I spent 2 months running First Financials POS leads my opinion became pretty tainted. Most of those people had no idea in hell we were there to sell insurance.

I'd think we should all pitch in some money so Jd can give them a try just to see what he thinks. I would like to donate $37.50. As long as JD takes a state debit card count me in!

I bought some that were phone generated about 4 and ahalf years ago. I don't know if they were called "press one" or not. It was something like finalexpenseleads.com or something similar. It cost me $400 or so for about 20 leads. It seems they got a few more than expected and I got about 25 total without having to pay extra. They were absolutely terrible. I never made a reorder.

When I first got with EFES about 4 years ago they had some "dialer" leads. They sold them for $10 each and the person actually made a recording telling you who they were and the address and phone number. You could download the recording and play it back for them when they claimed they didn't respond, which most everyone did. They were terrible leads. I quit using them long before they discontinued the program.

I only use mailer leads now and have exclusively for 3 and half years. They work, they are cost efficient and I have no reason to change.

But, if you do want to send me $37.50 I will take it. I can buy almost 4 mailer leads with that. I should be able to make it back in no time.

Someone answer his question!
I'd like to try it.

Yes. I have a call center I've worked with that can do the whole thing start to finish. They use the same process for political surveys a lot, just PM me for the information if you'd like it.
