Final Expense Telesales Tips - The Final Episode

Price!
Back in the early 80s I sold resort time shares. When ever we had a price increase no one would sell anything for 4 or five days, we already thought 16k was too high for a prime week.
Well one day when I showed up for the morning meeting my buddy Danny said to me "Just do as I do". So when the boss came in and announced another price increase, Danny stood up, so I stood up, then Danny started clapping so I clapped. The boss looked over and said what are you two *&%*&**! doing?
Danny said THANKS FOR THE RAISE!
We didn't have the 4 or 5 day slump that we usually had.
As agents we are way too concerned about price. I am sure you are not driving the cheapest car you could find. Its about benefits, value and trust.

There is so much truth to that! Maybe that's why LH is the leader in FE. It's definitely not because of their rates.

SNL just started telesales and the process is a bit cumbersome. I am not yet comfortable sending my business to them until they perfect it. But, thanks anyway.
Have you tried it? I wrote quite a bit of it last week and was blown away by how simple it was. My average time on the call with SNL for the voice authorization was around 7 minutes. I've wrote 4 different carriers via telesales within the last week and SNL was the smoothest of all of them. Curious to find out if you had a different experience and I just happened to get lucky.

Also hoping they don't overcomplicate things when they switch to Apptical later this week.

No, I have not tried them. However, I was on the training call when they introduced it. There was no immediate decision after the interview. Instead, the agent was instructed to tell the client to expect a call back from SNL to verify information provided and some more "stuff". To me, that just creates a step in the process that can potentially give the client a way out. It's difficult enough for the agent to close them. I cannot afford to lose it due to other voices getting involved w/o me at least on the phone also. I'm sure the process will improve at some point. As a business owner, I have to do what's best for me. Prior to Covid-19, SNL could not or would not accommodate me. I am multi-state licensed, so I need the convenience that telesales offers. SNL required F2F. Now all of a sudden, they will accept my business. It is kinda too late. I already have established relationships with vendors who welcomed my business.

Now, you do a three way call at the end of the sale for the voice signature. They are contracting with Apptical to do a 100% phone sale with no paper app.
