I believe a business card should be simplistically elegant/classy.

A bunch of truth to that school of thought. Some years back, someone told me that the "heavier" and more impressive you are, the less that should be on your card. Something like:

Barack H. Obama
P.O.T.U.S.
(202) 123-4567
[email protected]

In the middle of my card in type larger than the other information it says "Your Insurance Agent".

Glad I could be of help.

That is my "official title". It is a part of my letterhead and goes under my name at the bottom of a letter.

I want everyone to know that I sell insurance just in case I meet someone who is looking to buy.
