For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

It is a great program for low to moderate level producers. Take the deal.

Once you do over 100 to 200 GR contracts per year, then you go key broker and take the bigger contract.

If you did write this much (100 to 200 annually) through USPC, you'd get the following:
  1. 22% (plus extra for adding life)
  2. About a $5000 quarterly bonus (an extra $20k annually because you'd kick everyone's butt!)
  3. The lead credits
  4. Two annual trips
Math sounds good now, doesn't it?

I

As I said in another post, if you can get ONE more sale because a more flexible tool and a more professional presentation, this can pay for the difference between Quotit and another value-priced vendor for THREE YEARS or more. I honestly believe that with few exceptions, one gets what one pays for.

- Mark from Q

This is a good point but is 'one more sale' a reason to decide? I'd need more to start up or change companies.
Like cars, imports came out with better features, better gas mileage and prices that were better than domestics. That sells me on trying them out. Haven't gone back to domestics yet either, same with my MAC over the PC: Value is the factor, not price.

One more sale, based on a possibility, I'm not so sure.

PS: Opinions expressed are to spread awareness to the rookies/mid level agents who need assistance in deciding what to do with their valuable marketing dollars.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

So in reading these threads I'm beginning to feel like I've got some bad deals going on. First of all, I use Norvax, have the quote engine on my website, have leadminer, and have back offices for 3 people and I'm paying about $250/mth, does that sound right?

Second, I didn't get any sort of deal through GR for Norvax? We have a 26% contract, 9mth advance with GR and I have always been under the impression that we don't get bonuses, trips etc b/c we are a keybroker, is that correct?

Correct. You are Key Broker this is not open to you, because you are on a higher contract.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

KB's do not get trips, deals on Norvax (or Quotit), free leads via USPC.

You get 26%.

The rest of us get 22%, discounts, trips & freebies.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

Either way it is pretty good.

We could be getting 0% if the political climate changes next year.

Norvax- HTML or PDF

If you have Norvax, when you email a quote out to a potential client, what option do you use?

1. PDF Summary. No way to see brochure or detail of plans.
2. HTML Summary. Will launch into the brochures.
3. PDF side by side detail
4. HTML detail. For some reason, this displays funny for me, very wide or then vertically if over 3 plans are presented. I have found this hard to follow/read.

I have always sent 3 to 4 plans on the PDF detail. I am considering using the HTML summary. It looks nice, but does not allow a side by side with any detail.

Just wondering what others send.

Thanks

Re: Norvax- HTML or PDF

Spam filters will more often than not flag emails with attachments. Believe you will have a better shot, and a nicer presentation, with HTML.

Re: Norvax- HTML or PDF

The email system in Norvax doesn't format your message correctly. What I have been doing is opening pdf preview and saving it to my desktop. Then, I go into my outlook (or you can use whatever email system you use of course), then type a well designed email with the pdf as an attachment. This way the client gets the email from you personally and no spam filters pick it up. Also, your email will look properly formatted.

The html is nicer for sure, but if your prospect uses outlook to read the email, I have noticed in mine, the html quote looks bad (scrunched to the left and not centered). In conclusion, the html may or may not look appealing to the prospect. It will depend on what email system they are using.
