For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: Try my Norvax Filters...

The program is missing the beat on so many levels don't get me started. If they want to hire me as a consultant they have my number. I would drive costs down so low they wouldn't know what hit them.

Re: Norvax Users...

How long did it take you to get setup?

They told me I would be up today, but I have heard nothing from them... not a good way to start our relationship...

Over promise and under reward...

Some say there is a gap between Norvax' marketing promises (3500% improvement!?!? what's that based on?) and their delivery.
Try Quotit. I'm happy. Hopefully you didnt sign any of their 5 year contracts they've been pushing lately!

Re: Norvax Users...

While we are talking about Norvax...I assume most of you do NOT have the "Quoter Pro" upgrade which is about $200-$250 extra.

For those that do, was it worth it? And if you don't...did you consider it?

And if you are a goat...get outta here.

Re: Norvax Users...

Kinda lonesome since you moved out of my basement."

I was going to leave the goats, we have become quite attached to them. Well...not "attached"...oh, never mind1

And on a less serious note...Bob....I think I may bite the bullet on a quote engine. I know you like Quotit and I value your opinion. Do you still prefer them?

Re: Norvax Users...

Still prefer Quotit.

Much depends on the carriers you use. Norvax (generally) has more carriers. They had Time long before Quotit but so what? Time was not (and still isn't) a player here.

Give me a call if you want to talk about it.

Re: Texas Norvax Users

I'm in Texas and Arkansas and have my Norvax filters set to show plans from multiple carriers with the same deductibles..
$1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $2,500 and $5,000. It seems easier to make side by side comparisons that way.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

Someone mentioned Quotit. How much does it cost? Can you get them down on price?

Hi Pad Thai,

Sorry, I'm new to the forum and did not see your post til now.

Please shoot me a private message here on the forum if you would still like to learn more about Quotit.

Golden Rule is promoting Quotit to their agents in the last couple of months. Current promotion ends at the end of June. This promotion applies to all GR-appointed agents not currently covered under the previous promotional situations/programs that they have offered in the past. Please let me know if you have interest in this.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

hey DJ I've got some questions for you.

I'm sure you guys have your reasons for stuff you do, but why I left norvax is I found out that everybody was getting a different deal --and mine sucked as it so happened.

quotit may be doing the same thing behind my back and if so, when I find out, I'll dump them too -- hire me a pretty girl to generate quotes--at least I'll have something decent to look at while quotes are generating.

I will give the Quotit side of the response here. We try to be consistent with pricing. Sometimes this hurts us, when an agent really demands a few bucks off, and won't be happy unless we give in. When we don't give in, we can lose a sale occasionally. However, we believe this consistency also helps. Agents do talk to each other- and the reaction can be bad when they find out another agent with exactly the same situation has a lower price.

The only time we offer lower pricing is when there is a special promotion, OR when there is a special kind of agency or association deal with many agents all coming in all at once, which can be more efficient for us. But this is to be expected. Generally, our rates are our rates. We believe one gets what one pays for.

We are competitive price-wise but we may not always be the lowest price. For some vendors, pricing can vary with the phase of the moon, or what kind of day the sales VP is having.

As I said in another post, if you can get ONE more sale because a more flexible tool and a more professional presentation, this can pay for the difference between Quotit and another value-priced vendor for THREE YEARS or more. I honestly believe that with few exceptions, one gets what one pays for.
