For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: Norvax- HTML or PDF

And while we are talking about email accounts...Often, I will send the quote in an Excel file (actually looks very nice). I will also use the "Prnt Scrn" button and enclose a snapshot of the Excel file in the email.

By including the Excel attachment, what percentage of emails are going in the spam file?

Re: Norvax- HTML or PDF

Good info insmedins. The html format looks a little off in my email, browser also.

Chumps, I think the question I would have for you is what % of the people have Excel? What if you are still using Lotus 123 for DOS like Somarco?

This message was composed on my TRS 80 1, cassette drive machine.

How do you send Norvax quotes with Excel?

Re: Norvax- HTML or PDF

I would assume the percentage with Excel is small, and the percentage that can actually use the program - even smaller.

The Norvax HTML format is off on a lot of web based email programs, but the PDF is static and is very hard to read - particuarly the detailed version.

I would say HTML is a much safer bet by a long shot, despite some formatting issues from time to time.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

This is a good point but is 'one more sale' a reason to decide? I'd need more to start up or change companies.
Like cars, imports came out with better features, better gas mileage and prices that were better than domestics. That sells me on trying them out. Haven't gone back to domestics yet either, same with my MAC over the PC: Value is the factor, not price.
One more sale, based on a possibility, I'm not so sure.

The "one more sale" is not to say that you will get exactly one more sale with Quotit as compared to a competitor. It is only to say this: be careful about choosing a value-priced provider if only to save $20 a month. If you believe as I do that a more professional and more flexible presentation (and the confidence that may come from this) CAN get you one additional sale, then that pays for the difference for many, many months. That's all I'm saying. This is a hypercompetitive world out there these days. Just try buying a few retail leads and you'll know what I mean. Add to it all the Internet shopping that consumers insist on... and how LITTLE time agents have, at arm's length, to establish trust and make the connection... then you may believe as I do that the little things can matter.

I hope you don't think I was being argumentative.

It's just that it seems newer agents have this idea that they can buy leads, get tools and they don't need to work or know how to sell, then they get discouraged when they don't make any money.

People can sell with or without these tools if they know what they're doing, yes these tools can be very beneficial if you know what to do with them, it seems that 'if' is a pretty big word for such a small word.
