You'd have to prove you're newly eligible for a subsidy.
Stop working so hard so you can qualify for a subsidy.

You can pay your premium, but skip mortgage/utilities/child support and claim a hardship exemption too if you want, but that just gets you out of the penalty and qualifies you for Cat plans.

Right? Not paying your utility bill usually won't hurt your credit until after you could get the exception. Hell of a lot easier/cheaper than a divorce.
