People always get caught up in Page Rank. While PR does have value to Google (obviously, otherwise they wouldn't update it), backlinks are what determine a sites ranking in the search engines. Don't worry about PR or even how many backlinks are showing up in the backlink checkers...just keep building quality links. I have a number of sites that have lower PR (0-2), but show up higher in the search engines than higher PR sites.

PR means nothing in regards to your placement. . . google search "payday loans" or "buy viagara" and see how many PR0 sites are at the top. Best best would be to work on improving your ranking via backlinking, or other promotional methods
