Has Anybody Worked for LTC Financial Partners?

Looks like the regional sales manager quit! Funny. He just started?? Wonder what happened. He came over from Acsia. I'm curious if he went back. That's not a good sign.

Must be one tough job.

No job security with all of the moving parts in their system. I'm sure it flows down hill from upper management on them as well as the agents.

Well, I know its not 8-10%.

But they get leads......

I had a conversation with a woman last week. An LTCFP agent was pressuring her to buy a Life Secure policy because Life Secure's rates were going up. I found this amusing. Nothing against Life Secure but Mass Mutual, NY Life and Genworth all had policies priced as well or better. I mean, really?! Putting on a full court press because you can't be client focused because you do not have the ability whatsoever to help a client actually explore their options. Yet the company markets itself as being specialists, independent, etc. Just marketing BS.

keep up the good work, Jack.
put clients first.

one time i was in competition with an ltcfp agent who was trying to convince this man (who's wife was declined) that the jh policy with cpi was worth spending 40% more premium for than the mass policy with 3C.

somehow, in his mind, the cpi would grow so much faster than 3%.
of course, i'm sure he didn't believe that, but he had to try to do something to place the jh pol.

why not just walk away and tell the consumer to buy the better policy?
why put yourself first like that and resort to those kinds of tactics.

G-d is not mocked. You treat people like that and you'll get it back--sooner or later.

That is classic. Sad thing is the agent actually believed it. .....And he had the JH illustration that showed CPI growing at a hypothetical 4% and 6% year too.

I just find it funny that the core group of LTCFP used to tell everyone for 15 years that Genworth was the only LTC company that ever mattered.....until they couldn't get a Genworth contract.

They can't decide whether to drink the kool aid or spit it back up.

I'm not sure. I signed with them, but have not done any business. I held my contracts so I'm back with my original imo. I don't think I'm going to move forward with them and their "leads". I have been seeing a lot of weird stuff there lately.

Their "leads" that you "work" makes them twice as much money as your "work" makes you.

Cut bait. Get top contracts with every company and start working for your clients.
