Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

Don't hold your breath.

Does your current Portal.cms.gov password work for you when accessing the Healthcare.gov agent portal? It's hard for me to believe that the government is actually capable of auto-syncing our password changes over multiple platforms!

Allen, log out completely out of hc.gov.

Clear out your cache and cookies.

Go into Sherpa's settings, and make sure your current hc.gov username and password is in there.

Go back through Sherpa's back-door "access" button for hc.gov.

I think it automatically populates your UN & PW, but if not, you use the same password that you use on the CMS site (the one where you did training and certification).

That should do it.

PS - Always remember to complete LOG OUT of hc.gov every time. If you just close out the browser window, you can run into trouble the next time you access hc.gov through the back door.

When you're in the HealthSherpa Agent Dashboard and attempt to access a client's account by clicking on the big blue "ACCESS" button, it takes you to HealthCare.gov login page, with your FFM ID already populating the "Username" field. But the "Password" field is empty. What should that be? I entered my NPN, but no go. Used this feature once last year, but forgot what is supposed to be entered, and don't recall how I learned to do this back then. Help?

This used to happen to me when I would be directed to healthcare.gov from humana's site. I can't remember the solution, but I'm pretty sure it's getting your FFM ID off of it.

Thank-you for coming to my rescue Ann! My FFM ID was in the UserName field, but my Portal.cms.gov password was still not working. So, I followed the instructions on pages 25 thru 29 of this 2014 CMS training document.
https://www.cms.gov/CCIIO/Programs-...es/Downloads/agent-broker-enrollment-tips.pdf

Didn't make any changes to my Access or Roles at the CMS Portal, but after going back and trying to access HealthCare.gov's Agent Portal via HealthSherpa's back door, I was able to log in with no problem, using the same Password that was rejected 15 minutes earlier. All the govt maintenance cycles must have discombobulated somethin.

Anyway, one more ObamaScare-related challenge is now in the rearview mirror. Time to have a drink and then tackle the next one. (SLCSP price plummets in Chicago. grrr!)

Thanks again Ann and Sman.

I may have missed something along the way but I just noticed that you cannot use some web broker platforms to quote catastrophic health plans. On HS I've noticed you can quote and select them. INXS Cloud says you can only quote catatsrophic plans on HC.gov. ACA Express doesn't even show the catastrophic plans. Does HS have privileges that the other web brokers do not have? Has anyone sold a catastrophic plan successfully on HS this year without any issues? I have a young mother who wants one for her child ans there is a great one in our area that beats all of the bronze plans for a great price. I really want to avoid HC.gov and stay in control of my clients.

No CAT or child only plans on sherp

They must have just disappeared. They were there when I ran a child only quote Thursday night. I have not checked it since.

They are still there for Virginia. It must be a glitch for our state. They are still listed. See attachment.

Showing quotes is different than actually executing on those quotes.
I stand by my comments.
Go ahead and submit it, and it won't go through
