Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

Around 70% of my 107 apps done so far have been OFF exchange.
But beware, even OFF apps systems aren't full proof.
About 10 of my Humana apps that were finished, are hung up in "pending" status.

That may be true, but it's much easier to get resolved than issues with on-exchange apps (assuming the hold times aren't forever). Virtually every problem I had last year with Humana on off-exchange apps, they corrected it without much problem.

By the way, where is Cat? She was Johnny-on-the-spot just before OEP. Now nobody from HS is anywhere to be seen. I sent them an email last Thursday and have yet to get a response. Maybe they're busy handling in house enrollments and giving the finger to everybody else. I feel sorry for anyone who signed up with them as their FMO. Or maybe they are taking care of those agents.

I had one client where the premium quoted by Sherpa came back quite a bit higher because the subsidy amount was reduced by the Marketplace. Health Sherpa had a button appear in the Dashboard to Accept The Higher Premium and continue processing, or to Remove (Cancel) the client's application.

Does anyone know off-hand what the premium difference percentage threshold is for triggering this Accept/Decline button's appearance? I'm sure it's only if the HC.gov premium is __% more than what was quoted, but what percentage?

Most of my enrollments come back a few dollars higher, but only one was higher enough to trigger this "Accept? Yes/No" feature.

What is the turnaround time you guys are seeing. Wrote my first one on HS on Nov. 5 and it doesn't show anything. Just shows the client on HS and no info. Is that normal?

When you look at dashboard, it should show the name highlighted if the app is still in process. If it is not highlighted, you can click on the name and see the details of the confirmed subsidy, client's portion, eligibility notices.

Thanks. Yeah it's still highlighted. I'll be out of town till Monday. Hopefully something happens by then

I had a client that was quoted $22 for a silver plan thru HS. I received the same message you got that the subsidy was reduced and the marketplace has final say and to accept or remove the client application. The message said the quoted price was $22, but the actual price was $45. It also said the difference was .30 cents????

So I asked my client if they wanted to move forward with the $45 silver plan and they said yes.

Lo and behold, we get the enrollment confirmation and eligibility and the plan costs $22.30!!! Went in thru the backdoor access and on the HC.gov the plan was showing $22.30! So we just paid it and moved on! :D

I had the same issue...I emailed sherp and they said they responded that they re-submitted it. Still highlighted. So I called Sherp and they got it submitted today.

Female / Age 42 / Zip 60185 / $30k

Health Sherpa
Subsidy $116
Premium Before Subsidy $265
Premium After Subsidy $150

Healthcare.gov
Subsidy $78
Premium Before Subsidy $234
Premium After Subsidy $156

Didn't someone here report that HealthSherpa customer support promised a system sync with HealthCare.gov, last night? Families are seeing even larger discrepancies.

How can a WBE be so accurate in 2015 and so in-accurate for 2016? It's the same formula...just different numbers, for cryin out loud. Maybe HealthSherpa only had one person who could do this, and that person quit before O.E. started.
