Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

I'm not using Health Sherpa anymore because I can't trust it anymore. I was going to use ACA express but healthcare. gov is going pretty smooth so why pay?

To avoid 3 way calls with healthcare.gov due to users not being able to remeber log in data is the primary reason.

----------

Let's also not forget the CMS guidelines that state we cannot have access to username and passwords for the clients.

----------

Still getting:

Could not find an application to edit.

Well...Look who the broker is on my recent app:
George Kalogeropoulos Agent/broker Active

In fairness, I assume this will be corrected, so I'll give it a day or two. I definitely will report back on this. Maybe not their fault.

are they showing up on your dashboard......

Yes, but when you look at the applicaiton that you're sent and going into the HC.gov portal the data isn't there.

Example on the app at the top the ones that are being passed through correctly my name and Agency is showing up.

In the hc.gov look up application the ones that are showing correct show me as the agent/broker assist with Applicaiton.

in the 36% I'm referencing neither is the case.

What's a little frustrating is I've reached out for help in figuring this out but they must be so overwhelmed with challenges they haven't gotten back to me.

There apparently was a billing hiccup yesterday with their systems and that was the cause for the initial: Important: You currently have 1 outstanding failed payment. If not resolved promptly, you may lose access to some features of your dashboard." and Could not find an application to edit messages earlier in the morning.

Just because your name doesnt show up on agent/broker assist when you search and pull the app on the ffm doesnt mean your NPN isnt attached. 2 different things. Many apps with my NPN attached still require me to sighn the disclosure as I m not listed as an assister.

Best way I have found to pull npn data is to export your client list out of Sherpa and look in the NPN field in the spreadsheet.

Fair is fair....:

Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the delayed response as we are experiencing a high volume of emails and telephone calls.

Regarding the changing quotes and income, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have made note of your message and notified our engineering team to correct this on our website.

Example: Family of 4, 2 applying household income of $ 25,000. I get an email back from Sherpa stating income of $ 24,996.00
• Can you please clarify which email you received from HealthSherpa?

Regarding the premium differences, we are working to sync the marketplace´s rates with our websites. If you could tell me the zip code in which you are experiencing these differences, I can let our technical team know to resolve the issues.

Regarding your question about the client who ID is not on Healthcare.gov, I looked into the application and can confirm that the application was processed to the marketplace. We are still looking further into the matter, so I will follow up with you once I have a resolution.

Didn't take days as mentioned in other posts. Not advocating by any means..just giving the facts.

Just tried to do another one with Sherp. This person bought coverage from us via a 3 way call to the Marketplace on a SEP prior to Sherp being able to handle SEP's. I am getting some error message that Sherp "Could not find an application to edit" in red at the top of the screen. This is sad. A great tool completely in the shitter. I'm close to abandoning ACA alltogether to devote more focus to profitable lines of business.

I'm moving away from on-exchange. Just not worth it anymore. Nothing but a big PITA. Only off-exchange for now. And likely moving away from that in the next year or two.

Around 70% of my 107 apps done so far have been OFF exchange.
But beware, even OFF apps systems aren't full proof.
About 10 of my Humana apps that were finished, are hung up in "pending" status.
