Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

For me the larger issue is that it says Dec 25 when I've been telling clients the last day to pay to avoid cancellation is Dec 31. No, I don't plan on letting any of them pay that late, but nonetheless now a new date comes along and it has scared a few of my clients as well.

That's why I made the statement that I wish Health Sherpa would simply stop sending out the payment notices altogether. They mean well, but it really isn't necessary. That "Congratulations!" e-mail that clients receive from Health Sherpa ask them to call You and Me to make payment. Maybe next year, Health Sherpa will consult with agents for assistance with the letters. Their revised health insurance enrollment form is far more intuitive now, however. That's a start.

Speaking of website enrollment, does anyone know how to SAVE the enrollment form, while in the midst of completing it? I have one minimized to the task bar, waiting for an income number from this family, but I'd rather SAVE it. Seems to me that the save ability was there for awhile, wasn't it?

We have updated that date to the effective date in the emails along with a blurb to disregard if payment has been made.

Allen,
In regards to the save - you're right that should absolutely be there. I just had Engineering push this through. You should see it now.
Cheers!

Would be great to have some CRM tied to HS. I think ACA Express has it. You could basically review plans during the window shopping phases then submit all of those plans on 1st day of AEP with a simple click. Great way to get a head start.

Please please please, can we turn off the follow up "make a payment" email.
It's causing numerous calls, and emails, and confusing clients and my messaging. Every agent and every client does it differently. Causing more time spent than filling out your application (and approval).

Please.........."On" and "off" button, or ability to eliminate it for those of us who actually assist clients (vs un-assisted apps)

Agreed, these payment emails are doing way more harm than good at this point. I appreciate that you're changing the language to be more accurate, but can we have the option of turning them off all together ?

Actually if the wording is correct with a disclaimer (if already paid, et al) then in my mind payment reminders are a benefit to avoid lost sales due to non payment. HOWEVER, can someone clarify: I was under the impression that the last day for payment was the day prior to the effective date, not the actual effective date. This is important because our names are attached to these emails and I don't want to be responsible for someone's plan being cancelled because they waited to pay on the effective date.

Hi CAT. I don't see the "Save" option, but that may be because I still have the same client's application open in a browser tab that was open when I requested that the SAVE option be re-added. Thanks for such a quick response Cat!

Aren't plans going to issue paper bill for first payment ? Most of my clients want to make first payment that way before they set up auto pay to be sure previous plan has stopped billing. Am I wrong?
