Health Sherpa

Phony application

Just for the sake of a healthy discussion. I went through a completely phony app through Sherpa, that is a phony address, birth date, SS etc. It completed quickly as promised and I got an acknowledgement letter to my email (that was real) almost immediately.
One day later I got the confirmation email that the app was processed with the eligibility letter attached . Same regular eligibility format, subsidy and all. Very impressive flow of information!
But I'm really baffled how this came about if all the information I presented was false.
Chip in and let me know your opinions relating this experience with real apps.

OK..so you broke a rule. What's more surprising to me is that your experiment worked!

HealthSherpa is so cozy with HHS that they are able to bypass the Identity Verification & Mailing Address verification systems? Impressive!

What is WRONG with you???

You broke how many laws? You signed under penalty of perjury that you weren't lying when you hit submit.

Then you post it on the internet???

Run Forrest, RUN!!!:twitchy:

Got an email from Ning today that someone submitted an app with my info on it for a subsidy, but I never did anything and it's not showing under my dashboard, even though it clearly shows in the confirmation email that it was done under my link. Has this happened to anyone else? I sent him an email back but really want to know where the info came from.
