Health Sherpa

I also submitted an app today. Went thru in 10 minutes. Did another app today and was stuck on an error on the name on step 2. it would not allow me to go past step 2 and kept highlighting the name in red. My coworker had the same issue.

Hope they get it working soon.

Had the same issue. Went from Firefox to IE to Chrome. Restarted the computer. Worked after that.

Or, to be a fraud: a person who makes deceitful pretenses; sham; poseur.
example: Ameneses

As for your "I was only following the printed guidelines from Sherpa", let's let Ning weigh in on this. If he's cool with it, who am I to say?

Great reply. By the way I loved "poseur", it's so elegant!

Poseur definition, a person who attempts to impress others by assuming or affecting a manner, degree of elegance, sentiment, etc., other than his or her true one ...

Here is the best advice you will ever get from this forum-you have a 30 day Open Enrollment Period, stop worrying about Sherpa, ACA Express and every other agent here and go write some business.

Some of us on this forum are consistently writing 8-15 apps a day using a variety of methods (I have 7 so far today myself), do you really think we care about what you are doing or how you are doing it?

I had SAME issue today!
Tried again....1 hour later....and didn't get the name-highlighted-in-red issue at all. Went right through (as expected).

Just try again.

I've submitted several apps through Sherpa, and so far I've been pleased with how easy and straightforward the software is. However, at least 4 of my apps haven't been officially "submitted " yet (and they show up highlighted in pink on my dashboard). Some are apps I wrote a week ago. My other apps are processed and although they aren't showing up yet under issued business through the carrier, the clients have official eligibility letters, ect. It seems like the apps that aren't submitted are ones in which the client has a trickier situation ( ie. one has group available but it's over 9.5%, one has 2 children being sent to CHIP...). I'm still trying to navigate when and how to use the WBE and thinking maybe less straightforward apps need to go through healthcare.gov? Any advice or input ? The people at Sherpa seem to be continuously ignoring my calls and emails the past couple days.

BINGO. You'll have the needed flexibility for navigating to a desired outcome at HC.gov. The more you do it, the better you'll get at manipulating input to achieve desired results.

Here's the scenario:

I have a couple in a non-resident state. I have a non-res license in that state. I am not, however, licensed to sell through any insurance company - health insurance, that is - in that state.

Can I still send them my Health Sherpa link, for them to use?

I know I won't get a commission through whatever insurance company they choose, but will I at least get a copy of the confirmation number, and the letter of eligibility?

I don't care about the commission in this situation. I just want to make sure they get covered, and I want to be "in the loop" to see it through.

My client applied on my website and he called me because he received email from healthsherpa. BUT I couldn't see his application in my dashboard. He forwarded me the healthsherpa email and to my suprise it didn't mention me... healthsherpa was the agent of record. The client swore that he applied on my website that works perfectly always showing my info (NPN, name and phone number). I tested it many times and it never failed. I talked to healthsherpa and they had no idea why that happened. They gave be back the client.
Now there are two possibilities here; either the client intentionally or unintentionally removed my ID from healthsherpa URL or the URL doesn't work as it is supposed to.
I'm not saying that healthsherpa is stealing my clients (that would be very very stupid) but I wanted to ask if anyone else experienced it.

It's happened to me twice that I know of. They are aware of the problem and trying to figure out why it happens sometimes. Just send them an email and they will move it over. If you have any other info like browser used, cookies deleted, etc by the client, it will help them get to the bottom of it. They are NOT trying to steal your clients.
