Health Sherpa

Still haven't seen any policies hit the carriers...

Assurant-Posts the next Day
Cigna-Next Day

The only carrier that is delayed is United Healthcare whose system isn't set up to receive the feed from not only Health Sherpa but Healthcare.Gov.

Healthsherpa as far as I can tell did not disclose they are competing against other agents.

Anthem and Coventry not showing anything. Kaiser has no online tracking system so I have no idea on that one.

Who is healthman1 and what is his agenda?

My Sherpa apps show up within hours at BCBS-Tx.
Assurant seems to post them within 1 day (per above post).
Cigna seems to post them within 1 day (per above post).
UHC can't do anything right for the past 3 weeks.
Aetna is not far behind UHC in their competence.

Sherpa even called ME to speed-up a submission that I was patiently waiting to be processed.
They're saving me hours/day.
My clients can't seem to get past log-in at HC.gov in less than 1 hour.

Really, no agenda just an agent speaking out. By all means support them I don't care if they work great.

Is there a way to enroll a husband/wife into seperate plans on HS? I've tinkered with it, but have not figured it out.

I don't believe Sherpa has the functionality to do groups. You could also go into the hc.gov account I suppose and see if you are able to change groups, might need to disenroll them first.

Would you mind repeating that?

Is anybody else experiencing subsidy estimates that are off with HS? Had two back to back.

1 - Estimated premium was $20, actual was $90
2 - Estimated premium was $226, actual was $257

Now, will have to run estimates on HC.gov then complete on HS. Having to go back to client and say you were wrong does not look good.
