Health Sherpa

man this is how it is going down....they will cxl the first application and put in a new application.....with a feb 1 effective date....man just went through this for the last week on a client that some how manage to put in a application on 12/12 with no income so they issued him with out a subsidy...so we called to change it and they did but cxled the first application and issued the new plan with a feb 1......man it is taken a week for them to issue a 1/2014 with a subsidy....and get this my client can not cancel the original app with bcbs.....was told the request to cancel has to come from the marketplace.....

STI, calling the Marketplace is how we had to handle my client's case too, but it caused a double draft, because the government is so damn slow with notifying the carrier that the 2015 plan was to be cancelled.

Now, he's paid through 1/31/2015 on his 2014 auto-renewed BCBSIL marketplace policy, and his brand new 2015 BCBSIL marketplace S.E.P. policy as well. This will eventually be reconciled properly by the carrier, but it's extremely annoying to clients. Particularly this one because his wife suddenly died at the kitchen table 2 weeks ago.

i've been calling for days and all i get is a recording saying there are no agents available at this time, please try back later.
Not one of my customers are showing up on the Aetna portal from sherpa.

Hello all! I wanted to make two quick announcements:

1) We are dropping the price to $15 per application starting today, through 1/15. You can still stack referral credits on this for even lower rates - when you refer another agent, you get a $5 credit on every app they do. Also, we have no setup fees and no monthly minimums. You can get started in less than 5 minutes at https://www.healthsherpa.com/agents/features, and your first application is free.

2) We have added lead tracking - any consumers that submit their contact information but do not finish the application are automatically tracked under the "Leads" section on your dashboard now.

3) We have doubled the number of support agents and aim to answer all requests within 1 business day. Please use [email protected] - every email is automatically tracked so that we can ensure resolution (we were losing support requests when on calls).

Over 2,000 HealthSherpa agents have successfully submitted over 70,000 applications at this point - we encourage all agents to give the platform a shot to see how you can increase your production.

Thanks,
Ning

p.s. Penny, I've replied to your email from today. We believe Aetna is requiring consumers to separately create accounts before they appear in your portal. Let's coordinate on the email thread to resolve the individual policies.

Any chance you guys plan on responding to any of my requests on this board or my emails to support anytime soon?

It's great that you guys are doing so well and making all the improvements, but a phone call or even an email would be appreciated. I've shut down all our online marketing until the problem is solved. We've had 121 people visit our Health Sherpa link through mobile devices since I posted my original problem regarding iOS and not one has gone through on our account.

Joshua, sorry for the delay. We should have a reply to you soon if you emailed [email protected].

With regards to the facebook ads, assuming the correct consumer link, we've tested with mobile iOS devices to verify it's working. We believe the issue is that facebook ads convert at a much lower rate than AdWords and email. You can expect single digit % conversion rates on Adwords/email, whereas FB looks like it's an order of magnitude smaller (i.e. ~ 1 completion per 1,000 visits). Mobile also tends to perform worse than desktop - it's harder to fill an application out on a small device than a large screen with keyboard. Hence 121 mobile visits from FB may yield you no conversions.

You can add custom conversion pixels / javascript snippets on the Settings page, as well as a google analytics tracker code. This will allow you to have maximum visibility into your online spend performance. We're also happy to speak at length about online spend strategy and expectations.

Unfortunately this is incorrect. We track conversions very well, and the it's not limited to only the Facebook, it's iOS. I posted pictures on your Facebook for someone to notice weeks ago.

If you go to our site on an iOS device at integrityhealthinsurance.com, everything looks just fine. Until you click find plans after putting in your zip code, that's where our drop-offs are consistently. We track all of this through Google Analytics so we can see when people drop off on which page.

Our logo is on the page until you click "find plans", then it is replaced with HealthSherpa. I've posted this and emailed it many times over the past few weeks.

If someone would email me at [email protected] or call us it would be greatly appreciated. This isn't hypothetical, we've tested it.

It does the same thing on firstfamilyinsurance's Facebook as well. And they get A TON more business than we do.

Joshua, we are looking into fixing this now. We didn't realize it was iOS iframing that was the issue, rather than linking to the consumer link from facebook. We'll have an email to you soon.
