Lol... I came here because I thought it would be a good resource for a new industry that I'm really enjoying.
I made a hello thread and people asked questions so I replied.

Elias, instead of just coming on here and sayin "hello" your first post you were bragging about production, using numbers that were pretty darn suspicious. Then, you lied about the products you are selling. You are 100% responsible for the way we are treating you.
Many of the people on here are seasoned veterans. If you come on here trying to trick us and play games with us, we'll tear you apart. If you come here with genuine questions, we'll usually bend over backwards to help. If you come on here with genuine contributions, we'll welcome you with open arms.
Try again another time and act like an ethical adult, and there is a very good chance you'll be treated that way.

But I still question his making $350K+ per year as a brand new agent.. Perhaps he does but I would have to see his 1099!

@Markthebroker - just updated my post as he actually did his CE as of yesterday.
Even 1099s are pretty meaningless. They don't show payroll, office expenses, marketing costs and all of the other deductions that self employed folks can take.But I still question his making $350K+ per year as a brand new agent.. Perhaps he does but I would have to see his 1099!
Disability carriers and mortgage lenders don't let you just submit 1099s, you have to show your full tax return. That's the only way to get a true idea of what someone (who is self-employed) is actually taking home.
