This election is not about policy. It’s about which side can get more of their people to vote. The liberals are a lot more energized now that Joe is stepping away. It’s anyone’s race right now.

Also Trump will easily keep his base. They love the crap he says and does. But if a viable alternative to his crazy, it makes it less likely he’ll get enough moderates and women. He needs them because unless the dems have poor turnout, he can’t win with only his base.

Trump would have cleaned Biden’s clock. Now Joe is out. He might still win but things are much harder now. It’s no longer a slam dunk.
