Agreed. Great training, information and discounts from the IHIAA for anyone in health insurance - novice or vet.

One thing you should consider is what benefits you are looking for.
If it's discounted lead prices, some GA/MGA's/Agencies offer that, HCO, mine and many others, for example. And if you're directly appointed to carriers, LEGS from Assurant and USPC from Golden Rule offer free leads in return for production.
If it's the sales training you seek, certain agencies do this as well, there's HCO University now, Insurance Superstar and a few others. However if you are direct with carriers there is little to no sales training, so IHIAA may fill that need for you.
Product training you can get from all of the carriers, they'll teach you their products, you don't need anyone for that.
There are of course many other benefits through IHIAA (E & O discount, etc) so check it out and decide what suits your needs. And John (IHIAA) is usually working on other value added features.

The ILIAA is totally separate from the IHIAA, although Rick and I (the co-owners of the ILIAA) do consider ourselves friends with John (the owner of the IHIAA).

I have never use IHIAA but I agree with that if you need help and your just starting out, it's always a good idea to partner with an expert and they seem to be one of the few real experts out there.
