Leadco Exclusive Leads

The thing that keeps them afloat is they know how to raise money, so I guess they sell something very well after all.

Yes...and no. Good concept. Poor execution.

Their last round of financing was just that...the last round.

They had to give up control to the people that funded them further.

They can only give up control once...

Leadco seems to be pretty good with their credit policies. I had one yesterday out of Wisconsin who said he put information in on a client that had multiple health risks into Hirs (health insurance risk sharing) website to see about getting some financial assistance for her. The lead had no health problems listed but he was stating different. I put it in for credit as this is not a good site to be soliciting from unless it was for a high risk lead.

To my experience, Leadco is great with returns as well.

Leadco is good on credit policy, but the last time I tried their leads my ROI was next to nothing.

So it didn't matter if I got credit on 60 out of 100 leads if the remaining 40 only generated handful of sales. Would have to dig out records, but seems like my ROI on Leadco was 3:1 or less.

All I can say is it comes down to where the leads come from. If they are not "user initiated" meaning, the USER INITIATED the search for Health Insurance - the lead is worthless.

Most of the lead companies are not straight about their suspicious marketing techniques.

Good leads cost big money and they come in short supply.

As TX said, the "user intiated" is the key. These lead companies have AFFILIATES. These guys make $6-$15 for every lead they bring to the lead companies. The post banners and links all over the net. If the mislead the end user to fill out a lead from, you're going to get a junk. Many of the larger lead companies are on their game about curtailing this, however they slip by all the time. Then you have to burn lead credits. It happens.
