Life lic. Only

That sounds like my dad... never throw anything away... you never no when you might need it. Do you keep cans of nails, bolts and nut in your garage?

I didn't fall from that tree by the way.

My father in law saves the zip ties from all the grandkids toys..

The obvious conclusion is no get both. And you guys are hilarious!

Since you're already doing at least half the work that it would take to get your health license, you should get it anyway. Look at it this way; I have had many agents who wished they had gotten it when they got their life license. Not one agent in all my years ever stated that they wished they hadn't bothered with the health side (or vice-versa).

You may decide down the road you want some Med Supp companies in your bag, or maybe you will change your mind about MA Plans. Either way, it would be a huge PITA to go back and get your health license.
Is it wise for someone new to FE to have an exclusive FE IMO?

I've made up my mind. I'm going for it. No, I do not have a lot of excess money for leads but I can squeek by with a couple/few cycles of DM leads once I'm officially lic and ready to go.

1) I'm leaning toward my Life Lic ONLY. Reason being - why do I need a Health lic?

My only consideration would be for MA. BUT HUGE BUT - from the reading I'v done , MA is a gamble.

2) I want to be a FE agent. When choosing an IMO, is it best to pick a Fex Contracting( who is FE ONLY) vs a Dave Duford -who's open to the masses --annuity, mortgage protection etc..

I would think being with sn IMO focused on FE is the wsy to go..

Thoughts?
Get both the life and health NOW. It's not much extra effort and money, and later on you won't have to spend more than a year trying to decide whether or not to get it, because you'll already have it.

After you learn FE, you might want to add MA. If you don't get both now, you're limiting your future income.

So, are you going with Fexcontracting?
